For some reason, I have permission to post in French forum, but can't do anything on English side. I speak no French though.
Demonic Agility doesn't look too romantic, more like a predator aiming for its prey.
This is more like it:
How about [card]Zejabel[/card] and [card]Councilor Ishaia[/card]?
Or some nomad lady with Dimizar?
There's also a picture from [card]Kuraying[/card] and [card]Yu Ling[/card]'s wedding:
Also using Kotoba Trackers and [card]A close Shave[/card] is a cheap answer.
And more commonly a Portal deck with [card]Demon May Rise[/card] and [card]Demon Portal[/card] combo, but you have to be careful as he removes DMR
Need to ask one thing: how much Arrow type items can a character have at the same time?
The lottery will end on December 31st at noon (French time), the drawing of lots will take place on January 2nd 2013!
I think disabling getting point from your clan members is another way. When clan module was introduced, there were already voices that bigger clans may deliberately push the few chosen ones from their clans to the top in tournaments. No points also mean that they can quit without point penalty, so I think it wouldn't be that bad.
To complete the Event / getting Cataclysm, if you need to buy 6 decks (2 of them being free) for 15 coins each, you'd spend 90 coins plus 50 coins for trophy, that's 140 right?
So we need 140 coins = 140 wins.
With 8 decks, you'd need 17.5 wins per deck to earn 140 wins.
With 81* usable cards, you can play average of 4.63 cards per match if you win all your matches.
With minimum of 6 cards needed to be played, completion would be impossible without Feez, or did I make a mistake somewhere?
Let's try getting Survivor.
So we need 90 coins for 6 decks = 90 wins.
With 8 decks, you'd need 11.25 wins per deck to earn 90 wins.
With 81* usable cards, you can play average of 7.2 cards per match if you win all your matches.
Seems possible, but not very probable.
*100 starting cards, when they go down to 19 or below, deck is no more usable.
Good point of this event is that everyone gets to play a few pretty nice decks of a guild without making it himself. But truth to be told, you'd better stop dreaming of getting cards without spending Feez.
I've beaten the slimes over 600 times (and that's not an exaggeration) but I still haven't gotten a second slime card.
I believe I did around that much too with the same effect, also around 500 matches to get my first copy of Water Elemental that was said to be difficult to get at the time. I don't believe that it recently gotten worse (read: it was always bad), because I get around one rare a day (per 24 fights, roughly same as before) and something usable around once a week (approximately 160 bosses), but those are only speculations because I don't take notes on what and when I drop, so I can only give rough numbers.
I believe that there was one person who did that, took notes on what cards he dropped, divided by rarity and whether it was a favour or not. According to his calculations, playable (not an Eredan Favour) cards were dropping at similar rarity rate to those of a booster pack (roughly 8% for a rare what is near to having 1 rare in a 12 card pack).
Why don't you make statistics and compare?
And for the reference, I have 35 winter truce, 2 of which are foil. Lucky(?) me.
Announcement from Eredan Facebook:
Due to the unusual amount of time needed to resolve our current server issues, all running events will be extended by at least two days. Also, windows from the Advent Calendar you are not able to open due to service unavailability will be free.
What is the makeup of the Nehant Portal and Sap IHAS pls?
For portal, probably best would be [card]Edrianne[/card], [card]Iron Mask[/card] and [card]Dimizar[/card], the first being most crucial due to her ability to recover Demon Portals so that you wouldn't need to use other cards instead.
For IHAS, [card]Keep-the-Totems[/card] and any Two Hom'chai, stat wise I think [card]Rargnor[/card] and [card]Elder Mailander[/card] are the best.
Also any tips for the final boss should I manage to get there?
A slightly modified Demon Portal would be good. You can't chain cards, so additional cards to modify stats or heal (other than DMR and DP) are pretty much useless. Recycle portals ([card]Recycle Magic[/card], [card]Break the Second Chain[/card], [card]Edrianne[/card]'s skill) and discard other cards you don't need. Add [card]Deamonium[/card]s and [card]Brawl[/card]s in case you don't draw your key cards.
MerlinCross a écrit :Just ran into the "Crystal Scorpion". God they don't like people having any chance whatso ever do they?
I also just ran into him, what quest line is he from?
He lurks in Dark Tower - Third Floor: at the end of the Corridor (BOSS). I believe he's more beatable than Inferno or Arena Champion, in fact I killed him at least 3 times already.
Wait when did Sapphon leave?!
This wsas his farewell post:
http://forum.eredan.com/viewtopic.php?p … 69#p689669
It may not be totally unrelated since one of the Kongregate Staff announced:
We have to wait until the game’s server caches clear. Right now they’re holding onto the broken DNS result, when they clear they will pick up the new, fixed version and the games will be fixed.
Unfortunately we cannot force clear the caches ourselves, so we just have to wait for some of these games. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience
So if I interpret this right and if some Eredan staff have power to clear cache, I'd like to ask to try this solution to bring back Eredan to Kongregate players faster.
[card]Closure[/card] is a good card with chain and good counter for permanent cards. Attach it to opponent and every fight one of the opponents cards will be discarded and that includes cards attached to you like corruptions or root, I successfully managed removed both, so I'm sure it works.
[card]Revival[/card] can be attached to one of your characters to remove up to 5 cards like a stack of corruptions. It's more difficult to use and can affect your cardstoo, also opponent would probably avoid using lasting cards in the fight, but it's still usable.
Both can be usable by any character, but both are weekly trophies.
Question, do other transformations count, like Berserkers?
Funny thing, opponent played [card]Candy[/card] on my char, got 1 point (didn't even have masks in the deck)
Central European Time that servers use got adjusted back due to Daylight Saving Time, Dailies and all other things will occur 1 hour later for all countries that don't use DST
EDIT:
And to be precise, dailies do not start because it's past 6 wherever you are, but they start at midnight in France where game has been created.
Your theory would be right if there was only one limit, but as far as I remember, there are two separate limits: if you have 10 copies of X, you can't buy any more of it, be it sell-able or not and you can have a maximum of 100 copies of cards. In other words, after buying 10 crap cards, you'd still need to drop 90 copies of it to reach the limit and even then I don't remember what would happen.
No, it's not. When you buy first upgrade, clan members can donate their crystals for clan.
I can confirm he chains weapons, often Wakizashi into Firons
*Do I need to have my character(s) both a WARRIOR AND MAURADER?
No, either one is good, the rule applies to both classes, but you don't need both.
*Is it mandatory that my character to INFLICT MORE DAMAGE before the extra points can be given?
Yes, because it's called "additional points"
There's already a more detailed version of spell animation HERE as you missed out on lost of spells and even version on non-spell attacks.
And yeah, I also think there's should be a clearer indicator for multiple card selection as I can barely see what I have chosen while playing [card]Breaker[/card] or [card]Spirit Master[/card].
As far I noticed [card]corrupted[/card] is a Sap Heart weapon
Right, got error in my charts.
It might be true, that they did overwhelm ELO after their Legendary releases, but on the other hand, Zil and Noz also had their 5 minutes of fame after their legendaries, so I think the problem will soon be dealt with making other guilds overpowered instead.
This is first guild war won by Pirates, before they lost twice:
- Guem Tear to Nomads on 22/02/12 (date of battle start to search the news, so you can always check it)
- Temple of the goddess to Runics on 02/05/12
Saps lost three times out of four, while they Won Agonda shell from Zil they lost:
- Burning to Noz on 25/01/12
- Phantasmagoria to Nomads on 30/05/12
- Corrupted to Nehants on 25/07/12 (Ourenos release)
So how can you call guilds that lost more than won overpowered?
Cute little scorpio
Defeated him with Tempus with no favors, but somehow got 0 spirit most of the time, not that it mattered.
Add [card]Lord of War[/card] and [card]Weapons at Will[/card] to the list
