Card Ideas

A couple of English users have already begun to post their great card ideas, and this Sticky thread is being created so that we can gather them all in one easily accessible place.

You are welcome to create "Discussion" forum threads about your cards as well, but you are welcome to post them here as well, all in one place - in case the devs want to stop by and sample our creativity!   wink

Ok this is a long shot but it would definitely make the game less predictable, I dont think the idea will be implemented but you don't know till you try right?:cool:
Ok here it is

OK we all know when we see selene with 1 armor and 11 health that my opening shot should be a character with a attack bonus and target her since her order activates on 3 at the earliest and we would most likely succeed in a one hit KO, if the opponent's hand contained no defense buffs, or we all know when we see a Iro the duelist his orders are 1,3,5 and so right off the bat we know when to play our cards appropriately. What i suggest during deck making Apply modification cards that alter cards to the players style. Thus making players never know what to expect and would NEVER play against the same deck even if half the people are playing kotoba or Noz or Zil. Of course this could be abused so limiting the number of modifications per card or deck would be needed. I was thinking either point value per modification card.
A card can not have more then 2 Mod cards.
Common modification = 1 point
Uncommon = 2 points
Rare = 3 points
Legendary = 5 points

each deck is limited to 5 points worth of modifications and can never exceed that.
So a deck could have 5 commons, 2 uncommon and 1 common, 1 rare and 1 uncommon or 1 legendary and so on.

Some ideas, here is  what i think would be common mod, adding another order number (order would be random and would be anywhere from 1-9 but would never choose the number already on the card), thus if Iro had this mod, he could come into play with order 1,2,3,5. Another example would be change a random stat thus if Iro had this mod he could either get +1 spirit, attack, defense or health but would not be able to choose which.

Uncommon Ideas would be choosing the order number choice during deck making thus If Iro had this mod I could choose to add a Number to his order of my choice. Another example would be change a stat of my choice either spirit attack, defense, or health. SO if Iro had this mos i could choose him to have +1 defense if i wanted to.

Rare ideas could include adding 2 random order numbers (1-10) or 2 random stats.

Legendary ideas could include adding 2 order numbers of players choice, 2 stats of players choice or adding a a new skill completly such as regeneration which would heal 1 Health after every fight.

These are just a few ideas and not ment to be written in stone just to stir some thoughts, I DO KNOW however it would add replay value and excitement to battles for a long time.

A incentive to the Developers to consider implementing this idea would be to make the modification cards only from buying boosters and can NOT be sold! meaning if poeple want the cards they spend $. Also this is a great way to reward Players who spend money on your product:cool:

Its just another way to further distance non paying players from paying players.  Paying players already have enough "incentive" to buy cards.  They get more cards than other player, pretty simple.

Here's a single card suggestion of mine. Since it is only one card I figured I would post it in this thread where such suggestions belong. tongue

Since we have been being bombed by too many mage decks and can hardly defend ourselves against magic attacks, I have a suggestion for a card to help up the defense in spirit. It is kind of a Fallback rip off, but I think it would help greatly against some decks and the really powerful mage decks dominating elo rooms.

Iron Will
Action Card
No Guild or Class or Race
Effect: -2 Attack, +4 Spirit.

The idea of this card is to offer a special defensive skill for other classes than priests and mages. It does not have chain, so it cannot be missused by mages or priests to be uber powerful, it is purely a spirit defense card if you like. It will help against such extreme combos like RoD + RoD, etc...

I'm a big fan of the WitchBlade characters, so here's my idea for unique equipment:

Witch's Blade

One-handed Sword - Warrior - WitchBlade

Attack +1 to all your WitchBlade characters.
Spirit +1 to all our WitchBlade characters.
Activates immediately if chained with Witch's Armor.
Dual Wield.
Chain: Witch's Armor


Witch's Armor

Defense +1 to all your WitchBlade characters.
Spirit +1 to all your WitchBlade characters.
Activates immediately if chained with Witch's Blade.
Chain: Witch's Blade

The idea behind these items is that the WitchBlade characters are stronger when they're together. If a piece of armor and a weapon are equipped, then that's an increase of 1 for both attack and defense, plus an increase of 2 of spirit, for all WitchBlade's played. It's not over-powering, and could make the WitchBlade characters more of a central theme for decks.

Here is an idea I can up with reading this post. I used the "Fan card" in-game function, and it currently does not have mulit-guil/Courtesan abilities, so note that this suggestion is meant to be a Courtesan from both Noz'Dinguard Envoys and Zil Warriors (instead of just Zil Warriors).

Here are a few fan cards I made. Inspiration mostly came from not seeing enough Priests and Bows in game. big_smile

Here's a guy that plays at the only current Ice Elf style as Lady Yllith -> extreme resilience but low attack value.

I wanted to make the feel of archers as "First strike" characters, where they have advantage when they are still fresh in combat and get weaker (or in the case of Soren, run out of arrows tongue) as the battle goes on.

Here's what I think would be a good addition to the Saps :

The Sting (Sap Hearts)
Item Weapon One handed Dagger
Attack +1.
When the character, equipped with this card deals damage to an opposing character, reduce that character's Defense by 1.
Elfine: Activates Immediately

Also, this is sort of a copy from the Card Ideas section, but I thought I'd hit this thread too...  I saw "Trap" under the types menu while on the Fan Card thing, and made these:

Spike Pit - Played Face Down - The next time an opposing character attacks and deals 5 or less damage, they will make an extra attack against themselves equal to their printed low attack score.
Spring Trap - Played Face Down - The next time an opposing character attacks and deals 4-7 damage, they make another attack against one of their allies as well, (chosen at random.)
Explosive Trap - Played Face Down - The next time an opponent attacks and deals 7 or more damage, they will make an extra attack against themselves equal to their high attack damage.
Alluring Hostel - Played Face Down - Courtesan - The next time an opposing character attacks a courtesan, as long as they share a guild with them then half of the damage (rounded down,) is returned to the opposing character.

Basically the last form for them, which would require both Crackling Crown and The Dragon's Awakening to lvl up. I feel there current last form is way to weak and that both of them as separate cards were a lot stronger. Also would be a Dragon Knight with Dragon Guemelite (like Zahal) but Ima noob so I dont know if you can put that subtype in with fancard. roll

Also not a good drawer, so if anyone can draw feel free to fill in the blank.

It isn't too bad, but you should reduce the spirit score to two and for that add a bit to the max attack score.

I would suggest a Kotoba AOE card, as this is the only guild without a card to spread damage or other effects. The Zil have daggermaster, the Nomads have Team spirit, the Noz Lightning bolts, Sap Heart Scout the area. The mercenaries, having priests can use exaltation and epic fury, and I would not consider Storm or Explosion as options for the Kotoba as they deal damage to both sides. Maybe an idea worth considerring to even the odds.
