If you clearly NAME a person who was a poor sport in the forums and thus expose him/her to the others, that could be and will be regarded as flaming/insulting/attacking the other person. ^^

There is a thread of similar sorts here: http://forum.eredan.com/viewtopic.php?id=12440

There you can post screenshots of such moments or describe them to others. Just leave out the names and try not to be too mean. ^^

Plus the Epic Tavern = non Eredan related threads.

#27 Re : Discussions about Eredan iTCG » Wiki Storyline updates! [Check dis shit out!] » 14-11-2011 08:32:40

Indeed, wiki pages are community projects to help and support the community. Everybody is capable in editing and adding content to the wiki.

I would, however, suggest a certain procedure to keep the wiki running and also somewhat structured, so we do not have a chaos resulting from many people posting different things.

Maybe two or three individuals, who are willing to support and help a bit more than the rest, can maintain the wiki and the pages. These people would be the 'go to' persons to suggest changes and corrections of content in the wiki.

If we do get this actually running in a structured manner, I might be able to push for a separate section of the forum to enable better discussion of the wiki and its needed changes/corrections/additions.

#29 Re : Discussions about Eredan iTCG » Alot ot problem in the Spain forums » 14-11-2011 07:59:19

It is a good thing this thread is closed. I can understand your concern regarding moderators. If you do have issues or problems with mods, please contact Feerik staff directly. They all have a little function in their profile pages, with which you can send them an email.
If you cannot reach any of them or do not get a reply, feel free to send me a message and I will see what I can do to help with the issue at hand.

I am not familiar with the specifics, but I do know mods often close threads that can get out of hand, or duplicates/multiposts of the same topic. Do try to be somewhat understanding that it is our job to keep forums clean and as structured as possible. ^^

Haha! Nice to see I was so missed. tongue

I have been super busy with real life issues the past week but this week will let me launch at the forums. There's lots to clean up and to tidy up. I will have to use a blue iron claw and shove posts around to appropriate forums as well as zaap the bad ones out there!

If you have any needs or want to bring my attention to a specific thread or post, send me an email through my profile! I should be able to get to the matter within a day! ^^

As far as I know it hasn't worked in the past year. It never has while I was around. ^^

#36 Re : Discussions about Eredan iTCG » English Side Matter? » 28-10-2011 05:06:47

The English side definitely matters. I know this because I have frequented a lot with Feerik staff and forwarded information to them as well. We used to get more 'attention' when we had Lonak as a community manager, who would post regularly and often. His successor, unfortunately, did not post much in our Forum, mainly due to language difficulties.

I do believe our community will have a good lot of 'hearing' and eye witness to staff activity with the two newest members of Feerik staff. Our new Community Manager, Sapphon, and new Translator, Amber, will surely do a fine job, once they have settled in 100%.

In addition I decided to come back and help out here or there. I do not know, if I will be able to keep up with much of the game strategies, seeing as I will not invest in the game itself anymore. But I am more than willing to help out the community.

THIS

IS

THE ENGLISH SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE!!!

#37 Re : Discussions about Eredan iTCG » Eredan iTCG and its problems as of late~ [Add your opinions!] » 28-10-2011 04:52:09

Wow this thread sure did get pretty big. Haha. I am going to close it for now, as it is out dated. DO not worry though, I plan to keep an eye on things and definitely support more threads like this, in which we actually discuss things in a productive manner.

#38 Re : Bugs » The game has gone crazy! » 28-10-2011 04:47:17

I have moved this post to the appropriate section of the forum. Should you have any technical difficulties or glitches with the game, please post them in the BUGS section of our forum with a detailed description of the issue at hand, better yet with screenshots.

If you wish to alter your post and update it with the necessary information for the dev team to use to work on the problem, send me an email and I will unlock this thread.

The main problem about discussing what can be done or not, is, the fact that for many strategies with a longer term goal, we dont know how Feerik finances is good enough to handle a drop in short term income for a greaer increase in the long term.

So while many ideas we have here seens good, maybe its not doable for Feerik.

The main problem with that attitude, where it does bear truth, is that you will never get anywhere. Things will not move forward unless you do the occasional radical change. If you expect Feerik to continue this way, things will not change swiftly at all and we will have the same problems tomorrow as we do today.

When you bring in measures of radical change, you also toss in others to support it and thus ensure a more or less financially stable period in which you are establishing new things. There could be many things Feerik could do to support a new change in pricings/booster sales. Marketing and promotion is one hell of a thing companies use to lure in more players. Thus supply yourself with more potential customers or keep the ones you have happy with other things as well, while they spend their money.

#41 Re : Discussions about Eredan iTCG » Suggestions on how to deal with market inflation » 27-10-2011 14:40:53

@ opposing opinions

I do believe it would help greatly. Limit the amount of cards or restrict the cards to a certain group. Offering players a way to actually obtain some cards without spending 5€ for a booster pack is something greatly to be considered. Add the fact that eventually the inflated masses of crystals will dwindle away and we will have people not buying many packs and resort back to purchasing packs with feez.
I know of another card game online that offers its first edition fully for cash and for in game currency, which is also pretty expensive and needs heavy grind to even get a booster. People still spend shittons of money on the game, so they can get the new stuff as well.

Remember: Even if the amount of spenders or amounts spent decrease, as long as the amount of players increases, those will increase accordingly as well. Would you rather have a small community with a few big buyers, or a large one with many smaller buyers? Quite frankly, it screams masses to me.

#42 Re : Discussions about Eredan iTCG » Suggestions on how to deal with market inflation » 27-10-2011 08:54:23

Make booster packs purchasable with crystals. Inflation problem solved.

It has come to my attention that some douchebag with a blue cat like avatar has infiltrated the moderator group once again to wreck havoc and chaos amongst the English spoken community.

If you should see this individual, be warned! He is made of awesome!

#46 Re : Discussions about Eredan iTCG » Card of the week? What's the whole point? » 29-07-2011 06:21:07

Judging alone by the few posts here you can see a trend in what players expect. More in depth discussions about important topics, be it 'OP' and rare cards, problems with events or other parts of the games.

Maybe in the future you can actually do something the community wants instead of something more or less trivial that nobody really cares about. I would still like to hear the Community Manager's stand on this.

#48 Re : Discussions about Eredan iTCG » Card of the Week: Anathematize » 28-07-2011 05:56:41

This is another very situational card. Against some decks it is a gift of the gods, in a lot of cases it is utterly useless and gets tossed from your hand once you get it.

In most cases this card will be used to disrupt opponent tactics, including usages of staple cards, like Burn in Hell, Panic, etc... Also very useful against decks that like to put their discarded cards back into their deck via cards like A New Start, The Watcher, etc...

Another part of the card, which I personally liked to use occasionally was to team it up with A New Start. You remove the useless cards of the battle from your discard pile and thus can shuffle through your deck swifter and get the heavy hitting cards you need to defeat your opponent.

In most cases this card is situational though, which makes it more or less a non desirable card for me to play. Sure it has its uses and can be very useful in certain situations, but that is exactly it. It relies too heavily on specifics to be heavily useful.

The main point I gather is to urge people to post there. That's what you do on forums and it is something our users seem to stray away from. I try to put an in depth look into whatever the card is in hope of sparking a debate. Debates are something we are very good at and I encourage them.

I don't think people lose interest in Eredan I think people run out of things to do. I have one last hooorah to solve that but without involvement its pointless.

I agree that debates are an important and also interesting part of forums in general. It is what people like to do in forums. Post and share their opinions and discuss things they share common interests in. The problem in this case is that the topic isn't that interesting.

This is not meant to be offensive or mean. Just nobody gives a rat's ass about some of those cards up for 'debate'. Instead offer debate threads dealing with new content of the cards or entirely other important aspects of the game players would be interested in.

If you want, I could post a summary of the problems this forum has and why it is so inactive and problematic to keep alive. I would post in the thread you started to analyze the situation and question players on their feedback, but I dislike the question system. tongue I prefer free debates and discussions on the topic over limited q&as.

This section is my idea. It's for helping beginners and talking about.

feerik regarding you'r feedback and if you be patient, you will see many results.

Thank You.

I do have to say I am disappointed in this response. I know you have problems with English and cannot explain yourself as well as others here. I am also very sure you have a solid opinion on things I bring up and try to discuss and would like to express yourself differently than your limitations allow you to.

My problem is this answer is just not enough for me. Telling me off, by telling me to be more patient is a really bad response to this situation. I have been patient long enough. I have been dealing with this game since late August of 2010 and have been volunteering to help make this game better for well over 8 months. I have spent thousands of dollars in this game alone, because I believe it is awesome. But after 10 months and seeing the game basically at the same spot it was when you started, you lose patience.

You lose the ability to wait for it to happen and to be honest I now feel the urge to make pressure to help get things going. That is why I post these threads. They may seem aggressive and mean in ways, but in the end I want to see the game progress and not regress or get stuck at a stand still.

With a simple response like that, you basically tell me that Feerik isn't interested in progressing the game, but instead just keeping me held back to stay where it is. All I asked for is a little transparency as your product consumer and customer in what is changing in Eredan iTCG and Feerik. If you guys are doing things to improve the game, then tell us what. Don't tell me 'to be patient and you will see the results'. All that does is aggravate me more than I already am.

Erm, not forum material sir. o_o

No hard feelings but for someone who left you sure are on my back a lot sad

Let me do my thing, I appreciate your help with that one issue. You helped me see the error in my ways. But this, well it is a harmless youtube that is not even age restricted there.

I was gone for a month and am now forum active again. You think I am doing this to get at you or piss you off? D: That's wrong. I am actually just trying to help you out.

For instance with that link, I do not care how much of youtube fun it is, it is still depicting an act of violence (pretty harsh one too). That is against forum rules. You, as a moderator, are risking your credibility by posting such content in the forum.

You know me a bit, and know for a fact that a video like that doesn't bother me, but you still have to think about the rest of the things out there. Including the rules and other people. Remember there are kids out there and people who generally do not like that kind of content.
