the halloween event is actualy the reason for my extreme decline in activity. the highlander tournement format was infact the only "pro" i could see.

looking at each individual thing it all came down to "this event is for those who can play the most"

tournement-number of victories being all that mattered to determine a winner someone plays 100 times wins them all dont matter someone else played 600 games won 350 they more than trippled point and tickets won...   GG

masks-completly usless outside the trophies wich game tickets that ended up making no deffernce unless you was one of the top tournement players as they got so many tickets for their games there the amount you could get with trophies was a joke and you still had VERY MINIMAL chance to be drawn compared to those who could play 15+ hours per day

masks continued-there was no anouncment that they will be available for purchase and was released shortly after the new cards release eh lets forget those with limited budget. and to be required to buy useless cards to partake in this "holiday" event. holiday events should be fun for all or not at all. never say screw you cause you cant pay or play as often as others.


propsed changes
the masks being a seperate pack purchasable for crystals instead of feez (like say 10k for all four or 3k for single mask) = everyone can get the masks.  OR anouncing the masks was going to be released or release them same time as the new cards were but still in a seperate pack at a cheaper price than normal i mean come on they have no use other than to get the trophies/tickets.....

the tournement great format but indeed ban legendaries to put people on a more even ground and change the format to double elim. or subtract points for losses.

the draw put an obtainable max on number of tickets you could aquire, and make the tickets by those who didnt get drawn redeemable for a small prize so their time (and money for the masks) wasnt completly wasted.


sory if this sounds more like gripping and sory if ranting a bit. just the distasteful way the event was done has truely caused me to be VERY inactive when this was a game i played daily.

click on your player avatar click history click tournement button click on the desired tournement.

(however this didnt work for the halloween tournement for some reason it wasn listed as a trounement.)

Each Halloween trophy will come with a Lottery Destiny card carrying one or several lottery cards, this will give you a chance to participate in a lucky draw and perhaps win more prizes:

    * First winner will win : a voucher worth 150 €
    * Second winner will win : a voucher worth 50 €
    * Third winner will win : a voucher worth 20 €
    * Other players will also be randomly selected and win some gifts!

The draw will start on the 2nd of November 2010.

the draw should have started already aparently it was postponed and they havent felt the need to let us know.

and by reading that it seems lotry tickets are more like raffel tickets. each one you have enters your name into a drawing. they draw one for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and a few others for a gift. after that if your name wasnt drawn your tickets are useless/just removed?????

this event seems to have been geared towards people who spend money and was able to get 500+ games everyone else is just screwed and over looked. unless they get REALY lucky and get their name drawn againgst someone with over 10 times more of a chance to be drawn.

@vandago true i agree elimination tournements would be better tournement play. they wouldnt work for elo gain and thats what my sugestion was only a way to fix the easily exploitable round robin format that is being discussed about being used for elo.

if you can only be matched to each player once. and the tournement lasted long enough for everyone to have ample chance to play each other person entered. then it would put everyone on an even play field.

yeah with the current way tournemnts are ran it has nothing to do with skill. someone gets alot of fast oponents while others get people that stall till timer is almost out every action the winner is decided.

a simple solution to this. the matching system only match each player once. the tournement lasts all week long. so everyone has a chance to play each person once.

(that is a true round robin tournmenet anyway.) everyone plays each player once the one with the most wins is winner.

@demonsbane   i understand where your coming from however other tcg's are quite defferent from this so cant just be generaly compaired. but if we simply look at the segments that is simular we see they prety much do work the same just in table top it happens simutaniously.

so first off uderstand in this game it is a battle between 3 teams 1 characture from each fighting at a time. now lets look at other tcg's

yugioh:  monster batteling another monster-they deal dmg to each other simutaniously the same in WoW tcg, MtG, inyuasha, and countless others......

in eredan charactures deal dmg after they are at 0 or below 0 simply because its easier to code and easier for us the players to follow. just realize they are doing the dmg just as creatures in all other tcg's do. if my pitchblack warwolf attacks your attack potition sangan (just 2 random creatures) does my warwolf not die simply because it was my turn so i had anitiative???

now you may rebute with the fact that if you use a quickplay spell or trap card to destroy or remove the creature then the creature that got destroyed that way doesnt get to deal its dmg. but you MUST know that in those other tcg's its not the creatures useing the spells/traps its the player (hence why you have life points seperate from the creatures). in this game it isnt like that it is indeed the creatures that is useing the spells. and it all happens together it is simply shown in order for us the players to be able to follow what happens more easily.


and as far as sound while it would be a nice addition i would personaly sugest FIRST making the graveyard viewable....

however i SOOOO HATE that the roundrobin format is simply on who gets faster games....

i can win every match in 4 rounds and still easily be beaten (it happens all the time) i get mathed to people that stall ALL THE TIME  but for some reason certain people seem to get almost twice as many games in the same amount of time...  now i get matched to sooo many people that just stall the clock  wouldnt it stand to reason that they too would get matched to a couple atleast.........!!!!

while i agree that legendary cards can be beaten sometimes with prety simple strategies. you also HAVE to agree a player starting the game with several legendary does indeed have an advantage over his oponent that doesnt have them.

haveing a room where people could play more equal decks would indeed result in happier/more likely to stay and spend money players whlie those with the legendary still have all the places we already have to play them in...?? how would it hurt anything to make a room that restricted legendary??

(persanly i think this halloween tournement should restrict legendary. whats someone to do going up against foamy, yilith, and the hungry void)

people should have the opertunity to play with decks be as fair as possible especialy in in already restricted tournement play (thats the reason restrictions are there to put everyone on an even play field and leave the victory to be decided by deck build/play skills

why sugest limiting the deck types in a game....  i hate playing the same 2 decks over and over again here we seem to have a prety decent veriety of top teir decks. please lets not restrict that simply because someone has a problem with one play style.

heck i even thought that the restriction of them all having to have the same guild in common was a bit much.... why cant a zil/noz, a zil/koto, and a koto/nomad or koto/noz be in a team....


lets get deck diversity going not restrict it. PLEASE smile

well it is the first tournement it was a simple easy to code round robin no restrictions to test the tournement code. (hence it being in beta). kas we can se with the halloween tournement there will be other formats added. and possibly even removed.

my sugestion is instead of changing the format chosen to test the tournement system (the most simplest format possible). instead sugest future formats/rewards smile

i personaly would like to see
sealed deck and pairs tournements.

sealed deck-self explanitory. everyone who enters gets a sealed deck (there would need to be atleast 2 more than is currently available also they decks players get to play with should be random so to insure veriety in the tournement. it would be a double elimination tournement or round robin devs decision.

pairs tournement- you register as a team of 2 players. (deck limits optional not sugested however) it is a single elimination event. it would go like

EX:  team 1 player 1, player 2
       team 2 player a, players b

player 1 plays player a. player 1 wins=player a is out
player 2 plays player b. player b wins=player 2 is out
player 1 plays player b. player 1 wins= player 2 is back in and team 1 advances. team 2 is out.


(i would sugest the reward for this be some crystals+1 card something that has to de with teams.

EX: Double Team. this characture gains attack = to X where X=a random characture in your teams basic attack-2

yeah it is kinda crazy that prices here are more expinsive than IRL tcg's  $4 gets you 10 cards there here $7 for 390 feez's dont get you a 12 pack and them are in real life cards that have monetary value some being sold for more than $200 (alot more depending on the card/wich tcg its from)

1st i do realize buying the larger pack gaurantee's a rare (possibly the worst rares but a rare none the less) however buying multiple smaller packs will increase the chance of getting a rare and possibly one from each pack. so gaurantee 1 rare that your uncommons might be better than or get a prety good chance at getting 1 rare with the possibility of getting 3  hhmm prety sure i know what ild choose.

2nd this isnt that hard its basic marketing. give someone an option to spend very little on your product (the small pack). then give them the option to spend alot more but at a discounted rate. those able to spend more will certainly buy the larger pack, those that wouldnt normaly spend more will now more than likely do it, those not very likely to spend any money well they wouldn't spend it regardless the prices but they will be more inclined to do more of the surveys and free rewards from the rewards progam and earn more fee'z. and all of this means 1 happy players and 2 more money over all for the game (even though they had given the discount)


just dont see why every other TCG (IRL and Online) see's this but not eredon thats why i started asking if it was a mistake.

yeah i would sugest lowring the cost of the larger booster to 300 fee'z so buy buying the larger one your getting a 60 fee'z discount thats what... right around 15% off the price of buying 3 packs.

however in most tcg's it would be more like....

small pack (4 cards) 120 fee'z
large pack (16 cards) 360 fee'z

so that purching 3 packs at once gives 1 free pack totaling 4 packs for the price of 3.

is this an error...  4 cards cost 120 fee'z  12 cards cost 400 fee'z  12/4=3  so small pack*3=big pack  120*3=360 fee'z  so that means im paying 40 less fee'z buying 3 small packs to get the same amount of cards as 1 big pack

granted the big pack does insure you get 1 rare and a chance at an experience card in EVERY other tcg ive playes/heard of buying the larger pack usualy gives a discounted price compared to buying several smaller packs so figured i would ask......

when viewing my player information towards the bottom is a button that says "key" i assume it means a key code to give you feez or cards or something but how to obtain the key's??

are they things they give out after events like tournements or something?? or are the promotional codes give to people for verious reasons???

also in quests  im sure the untranslated sellection is suposed to be all quests. also in premium selection there is no quest name or description on how to complete it.

when trying to add blessed wings or first aid (anyhting in the _INUTILISABLE technique section) it doesn't add the skill to the combo list and simply refreshes the page
