Hi again,
well, the question I've come across this time is:
How does the spell "Copying" actually decide which trait to copy?
Is it random? Is it the one with the largest difference between the characters? How does it work?
Thanks again in advance.
GinNoKatana
... So we have a rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock now?!
will a level 1 watchmaker and apostle allow the unlock or do you need them at level 3?
I have not tried it yet myself, but you need them lvl 3 as far as I am informed. (I know it sucks, and yes, I don't know either what the deves were thinking when implementing that...)
Oh, I hope this does not become some sort of rock, paper, scissors game, based on the deck's race...
To buy the other starters for 1k a piece also is not all too expansive. In the beginning you get a lot of trophies quite fast. (Means some free Crystals!)
I bought them all to get a certain card pool in the start and can add some variety to my deck, but if you know what cards you are going for, you can just pass on the other starter decks I guess.
Fireballs are more popular than ever though!
Yeah, John. Did you really sell you Fireball for 20000?
I hope not...
yeah, especially when you're not willing to pay $200+ to get the right cards out of a 12 card random booster, and then not be able to even trade them to get the right amount of credits to get the card you are looking for.
Well, it's the usual "trading-card-game-sickness", I suppose... Usually the only people who would "speculate" on card prices are those who own shops. This game makes the players speculate also, resulting into the market prices going up so crazy, but then again; is there a trading card game where that is not the case? ...
You mean to just reset your level to 0?
I don't think there is, and I don't know if that would be a good idea, for the new players ten facing decks impossible to beat for them.
But maybe I misunderstood?
Honestly though, there are only so many hours they can put into this game and I would rather have a really great PvP game than a mediocre PvP and a lack luster PvE game.
Except for the turnament-mod(/"add-on" or how it was called) and maybe a better "matchmaker" than the rooms defided by level, I don't see much to improve in the PvP section, so I don't really worry about the PvP becoming "bad" in some way, for it already seems to work quite well.
Also for not playing alone in PvE a coop-mode would be nice, but I think that has been suggested already.
The request was not to talk about "bankers", which was really just kind of a bad translation for "people who pay to play". What they mean is "no complaining about users who pay for Fee'z (with real money) having better cards than those who don't". (This has now been clarified in the FAQ).
It is perfectly acceptable to talk about Marketplace prices and practices as long as you follow two simple rules: (1) you can't sell cards in here, and (2) don't say anything negative about specific users. If you think someone is doing something 'against the rules', please contact a moderator.
Otherwise please feel free to dicuss this topic! The Marketplace is a vital part of this game and discussions of value and trading are certainly allowed!
Oh, good that that's been clarified. I must have remembered wrongly... obviously.
Sorry about that!
I made a suggestion about that last week in someone elses thread
I would generally second that. Uneven matches just are not so much fun, either way around.
... and I once read somewhere that we're not supposed to discuss about "brokers". I wonder why that is though, for the market just provokes creating them.
I wonder if the prohibition to discuss "brokers" also includes discussions about "broking" and the discussion about those discussions as well?!
For I see them as a problem, and in the game's mechanics there is not much of a countermeasure except for: Don't buy overpriced cards! Let them sit on their stacked items (or other cards)!
To see if a card is overpriced or not, the "average prive for the last week"-tag is a help. Not always reliable, but a help.
(If this post goes against this "Don't discuss about brokers"-prohitbition, please feel free to delete it!)
Yeah, I also don't see how one wants to merge cards from different accoutns together...
Posted, even I'm French and I play in French wink
And still you care about us. That is so nice of you, Zurga.
Hm, that's a good point. If they implement a PvE-environment, the number of players who are avalable for PvP-matches becomes lower.
So maybe it would be good thing to implement when the community has grown still a bit. If there are enough people playing the game, you also always will have enough people playing PvP, I suppose, but now the number of players might still be a bit too low in total.
Does this mean, we will get some sort of "story mode" or just a KI to play against? (Maybe both?)
If it is a the one or the other choice, I'd prefer the story mode.
Edit: The question kind'a includes "What do you mean by 'Quests'?"
What exactly do you mean by that? And how are they supposed to work?
Same thing as for the "Sound Suggestion":
Please make it optional.
The thing is that this is not a cooperative game, so the chat is not really necessary, but I agree that it would be nice to some people to have.
But juging by my experiences, in competative online-games chat-texts tend to be abusive in some for and/or to some degree.
I for myself would probably not use the chat in this game most of the time, for I want to relay while playing it and not get annoyed by other people calling me "noob", "idiot", "stupid *****" and so on although I feel as like the community in this game (still?) is quite polite and friendly.
And if you make it optional, make sure to tell the other side somehow that the one side is not using the chat, so he/she won't get upset if one does not reply (due to not recieving the messages).
That's all for the chat thing I wanted to say, and again, I'm sure you've thought of it probably yourself already.
Ok, I just read the "Approved Suggestion"-Section by Dantesan, and I like to say some things to some of the approved suggestions:
1) I really like most of the Ideas!
2) I will just open a threat for every suggestion I'd like to comment.
3) This one is about the sound suggestion:
If you implement sound, make sure to make it optional, please! (You probably would have anyway, just wanted to strengthen that.)
xD, good to know, thanks John!
Ok, good to know. I ca work with that. Thanks again!
Allways a pleasure.
Well then, congrats, John!
For an overall overview I usually use the link in this threat:

It's in French, but with the google translator even I can get the information I need out of it.
Also they get this "Attention - This player does not play fair!"-tag, so they cannot compete in the ELO-room if they do that too often.
I think the system is all in all quite fair.
