Everyone seems to have missed the part where:
- Kotori Kage is NOT Tsoutai.
- [card]Akagi no Jutsu[/card] chains for Tsoutai (not Tracker).
- Akagi no Jutsu -> Katamaru -> The Art of Tracking combo is not possible unless somehow you give Kotori Kage the Tsoutai Caste first.

Happy?

This is not a Tracker update.
This is a Tracker, Tsoutai and Crow update.

There's a mistranslation in the English text of the card. It says Tsoutai but actually its for Marauders.

Don't you think this is too much. Look at this scenario:

Kotori Kage on his turn bonus uses [card]Akagi no jutsu[/card] + [card]Katamaru[/card] + [card]The art of tracking[/card] = 10 attack bonus plus defense reduction to the opponent. It seems Feerik didn't test again the cards.

Yes, intended and tested.
You miss the part where you can do the same thing actually on turn 2 when you don't have initiative and your opponent choose another Tracker :
Turn 1 => your character plays [card]Transmission of knowledge[/card] + [card]Tracker's emblem[/card]
Turn 2 Kotori Kage =>   [card]Transmission of knowledge[/card] + [card]katamaru[/card] + [card]The Art of tracking [/card] => Kaboum.

I want to add something about this one. You can still do the combo you mentioned. Akagi no jutsu will actually make it more op. In turn 2 instead of using Transmission of knowledge you can replace it with Akagi no jutsu. That's 16 attack bonus plus defense reduction and it's only in turn 2.

Looks like we can have a dance off competition soon we have the Kotoba doing a [card]Victory dance[/card], Zil doing an old fashion [card]Dances with Volk[/card], while Nehants and Courtiers do there renditions of [card]... becomes us[/card] and [card]The Ball[/card]room dance, and a Noz female duet of [card]the dance of the blade[/card].   Their are also Sap Hearts doing [card]The Rain Dance[/card], (Sorry, I don't exactly have the link to the collectors version), while Pirates pulling off a [card]Dance of the Thunder Snakes[/card], with the Nomads doing a S-O-L... well, a [card]Team Spirit[/card], (I'm pretty sure most Sol'ra worshipers are dead by now), and the Runics doing the [card]Ceremonial[/card] like dance.

Oh and I avoided mentioning that Nomads have a beautiful belly dancing card because then I would be afraid that I would also have to admit the Kotoba actually has a lap dancer and we could have technically had a dance off competition already therefore giving me nothing to comment on.

Nah, I just couldn't think of any good dance cards for mercenaries and I'm sure the new guild will get a dance card eventually and [card]Necrotic Dodge[/card] did slip my mind.  I think every nation in the world has a dance or dances, whether it be tribal, religious, or just for plain old fun.  So it would be weird if there was a guild of non-dancers.  I just don't think some war guemelites *cough* Okooni *cough* should be lap dancing for people.  I might even have to buy a new pair of eyes if that happened to me.

I've noticed that in the last 3 updates all new characters are recyclers. I hope it's not a sign that discard deck will get an update in the next Zil release.

They already have.
It's called Anathematize.

Shengdi doesn't really recycle much.
Human Trackers that use Items risk decking out way too fast.
[card]Acrobatic Fight[/card]
[card]Kotoba Shadow[/card]
Shengdi actually only makes it faster.
To compensate, he incorporates an anti-self-discard mechanism.

Hmm?

Good that equip tracker have [card]Shuriken[/card],[card] Needle-Launcher[/card] and the new card [card]Iron lotus[/card] as a another anti-self-discard mechanism that you can't counter with [card]Anathematize[/card].

Except Iron Lotus encourages you to Discard.
Shengdi encourages you to Discard.
Acrobatic Fight encourages you to empty your Deck.
Kotoba Shadow empties your Deck.

Iron Lotus, Shuriken and Needle-Launcher can be removed from play (into the Discard Pile).

But you don't have to discard if you play [card]Iron Lotus[/card].
And you don't have to play [card]Acrobatic Fight[/card].
You can adopt your play style on the enemy deck.

If you play against a normal deck you can go full aggressive and waste cards.

If you play against a discard deck you use your cards with concern.
You play lesser cards and more the [card]Iron Lotus[/card], [card]Shuriken[/card] and [card]Needle-Launcher[/card] so that they can't be discarded from you hand.
The only other option is that he counter your equip ... haven't seen one discard that could do this.

Actually, if you play against Discard, you want to destroy them before they eat your Deck.
Since they're going to cause you to Discard your hand anyway, it's smarter to Discard them to your Iron Lotus effect.

Doesn't change the fact that Tracker Item users is a deck strategy that eats your deck really fast.
Maybe 1 card per turn from discard to deck would be enough, thogh.

They normal can't discard you all 4 cards in your hand and play at same time deference cards. If you play one card per turn like [card]Shuriken[/card] you have more then enough damage to kill all enemies in turn 6 because the base damage of tracker is really high with [card]Shui Khan[/card].

I didn't say that equip tracker are to powerful.
The new character is totally fine.
But discard is for sure not the deck you have to fear as one.
Your weakness is more that your defense is very low.
And you have to finish against some decks as early as possible.

I'm saying that, due to the gameplay of the deck, you somewhat counter your own discard counters by eating your own deck really fast.
Needle-Launcher only has 50% chance to go to Deck.

[card]Needle-Launcher[/card] goes to 50 % in your hand not in the deck.
I think you never played this deck and can't judge it.

We can test it out if you want.
Never lost with human tracker equip deck against a discard deck so far.
You lose more because of damage race or your own stupidity.
To low defense and other deck can increase their damage even faster then you or they can kill key character out side of the battle without delay.
If your [card]Shui Khan[/card] dies then you have a big damage lost.

All in all cool deck but not strong enough to play in the elo.
Tsoutai, crow and war guemelite tracker are much stronger at the moment if you want play a kotoba marauder deck.

Crow is still a strong pick. As for Tsoutai, I'm not sure. Yeah we picked up two new tricks, but I think Crow is a better marauder deck choice.

That said, I like the two cards we did get. Def up that makes more and a large spirt buff. Those are awesome.
