Dimizar answer on the French thread that Eltarite are form with an Elfine and An Hom'Chaï.
Elfine can be Male or Female, Hom'Chaï are always male.
Eltarite are a sexed race with male and female.
My two cents now :
We can suppose that if the Elfine in the merging process is male, the result is a male Eltarite, if the Elfine is a female, the result is a female Eltarite.

Didn't know the Hom'Chais were always males...
I might be wrong here, but weren't the Eltarites seperated into the Hom'Chai and Elfine a looooooong time ago?
So for a time, they existed as elfines and Hom'Chais right? The Elfines consist of both male and female, so nothing wrong with them at continuing their race...

Hom'Chais are always male, and they aren't immortals so they can't live forever....so.....how does this work again?

Yeah i think that if they want to breed, a male elfine or homchai must mate a female elfine. But they tend to be always in a elfine-homchai couple

As far as I understand Dimizar's explanation :
There is always somewhere a couple Hom'Chai / Elfine because they are part of the same Eltarite.
But for love affair, it is not always the same Hom'chai / Elfine couple.

A female Elfine can mate a male elfine or an Hom'chai (only male Hom'chai exists) and theirs kids can be male or female elfine or hom'chai.

An Elfine is paired with a Hom'chai as Eltarite part, but they are not necessary in love together, they can be just friends and have others mate.

The one in that card is Sachem in his beast-elfine form.

And the firsts hom'chais came from the magic of the old World-Tree that divided the Eltarites in both Elfines and Hom'chais.

Sachem and Dandy are male elfine (no gay here, see [card]expert in seduction[/card]).
