I've always hold onto my tsoutai deck despite it being not competitive for the past few months, and I find today's releases quite good.
-Mastery of the flawseeker gives them another way of dishing out dmg, and could be a good replacement for RoD.
-Xianren is good because of his human/war guem status, since (like ayako) he benefits from the defense and heal from flawseeker's harmony, making him hard to take down and...
-Vital point makes recycling harmony that much easier! It also helps tsoutais carry out their fu-shi-mi combo, which is quite devastating if played right.
(Vital point + shi >> mi = +7 attack, 1 defense and 3 direct dmg! )
Combining with their calling, katamaru and allegiance....
It might not seem much ,but add up all the advantages they have the tsoutais are actually looking really good IMO

Beat me to it. A character for the Tsoutai that is both human AND war-guem, as well as being a Mage-Marauder in their final level is a beautiful thing for the caste. Losing Human race really hurts Akutsai in the long run for a strong deck.

And the art of the new Flawseeker spell is awesome!

Harmony cures and defend, Akutsai lv 3 is waaaay better then lv 4... And lv 3 can help too if you play [card]Karukai Tooth[/card]

I just mentioned, thats its > another < card, which hurts any deck with mages a lot, no spirit = low/no damage or sth else. Its just sad to see, that even decks like the pack beat magic dmg decks easily.

And the Kotoba warriors need some defence reducing stuff (not only kusanagi) and anything vs mages/priest..because they actually only have their high attack and a way good defence, and this isnt much compared to others. But i guess we have to wait for the WaW rework too..maybe it will change something

There was a time when people were really mad because mages were "overpowered"... it seems like people really like them now XD

Edit: Seem like mages will have to add some control in their decks and not just pure blast

Because the situation now is that akutsai lv3 is more useful than lv4.

I don't think it makes sense that you give it a "win using magic" to uograde and unlock lv4 by "Apostle" but earn a worse card.

so I really really hope akutsai 4 can gain human race into it , please.

Lv 4 he's Only guemelite, lv 3 he's Guemelite/Human, whit " to gain human race" i dont understand what you tried to say... If its a sugestion, i think that is better not, cuz on History, Aku is possed by the overpower of Akujin, on lv 3 he still control his Flawseeker on lv 4 he dont

The card itself uses Yr Rune.
Many cards use "rune quantity".

So you're getting something if you got no runes.
And 2 runes if you got 1 rune.

Easy.

the current gameplay
is getting more technical
specially with the rune mechanic
as players now need to be more critical with their moves
deck building now has more birth as the max has grown to 50

used to be an MTG player (beta not alpha)
and am happy that eredan is getting more complicated ^^

i just hope that we get database with more filters ^^

I'm not contesting that one.

Though it's also awfully similar to Saint Seiya's Draco no Shiryu when he releases his Dragon Cloth to use Dragon Rage.

I'm only saying I don't buy it when Dimizar says no card art is inspired by Saint Seiya.

Runic Protection and Ice Crystals are the most obvious ones.
