Would it be such a horrible idea if the other craftsmen were updated to gain chain when they play there... "one of a kind?"... item. klementine has that with with starboard and port and I don't have any reason to suspect that it would change anything other than making the other craftsmen a viable option to choose from.

The problem with craftsmen and golems are that they are item based. Items are weak, there are too many ways to rid them of their items and thus making them useless. People mention freeze all the time, but there are many other cards that remove items. Also it takes time to attach all of those items. So against a speed deck or basher deck, craftsmen are weak, against mages with freeze, craftsmen are weak, against discard decks, craftsmen are weak, there isn't much left for them to beat. Unless they are improved drastically, they will completely fade out soon.

I agree with this.
Clover/Klementine (starboard version):
Gain Chain if you play a Craftsman Item.
Note: They get the least benefit from their specialty items.
Klementine (golem version):
Gain Chain if you play Time Bomb.
Ramen/Souchi:
Gain Chain if you play a Craftsman Food.
Jayane:
Gain Chain if you play a Craftsman Potion.
Jorus/Gaya/Kroub:
Gain Chain if you play a Craftsman Jewel.
Masamune:
Gain Chain if you play a Craftsman Weapon.

Na, one post is good enought, feerik dont gonna do it if we Span that... But its a very nice idea, could raise the power of craftsman... Besides come cards like: Quick Lunch and Labor chain would be useless... Okay, they already are useless, but it would be even more
Hors ligne
feerik probably won't get a chance to see it since it's in the english section... but I get your point
I guess craftsmen just need a total overhall to keep up with the current standard of ' win in 5 turns or your dead'... sucks when one my favorite play styles just isn't good enough any more

how about the new golem or craftman with the ability doing a lot of damage when his attached cards are withdrawed??

Arc-kadia - Golem - Air Guem - Legendary
Mage-Warrior
Spi - 2
Atk - 6/7
Def - 3
HP - 15
At the start of fight, discard Item from it and the opposing character suffer X direct damage + number of living craftsman in play, where X is the number of items in the discard pile.
Turn 2, 4, and 6: <P'rates items> from the deck is played after your cards.
"As we flew over the Guem lands, you served us well." - Captain KillCrew
hahaha! ^^

I like it, except with the Clover/Klementine, that will make pirates craftmans way more powerful that the other crafts, i think we should just keep with their specific items to gain chain
Hors ligne
yeah but the general idea is there that craftsmen need an upgrade. not their action cards but the characters themselves. and it would only make sense that someone like jayane would be proficient in potions enough to be able to chain them. at least in her stage 3
