...It chains, and you can put the amount you want on a character...
just imagine a character with 2 resistance and two sharp cestus on it...
The first line of the card says "Permanent. One copy per character." I don't think you'll be stacking those.
It has to either be a bug or the wrong wording. It only works for me if my opponent has -4 health. Hopefully its a bug because -4 would make it a lot less useful.
I don't remember wich thread I said it in, but I did say there was going to be a Dragon - Witchblade - Human - Dragon Guemelite - Mage - Marauder - Warrior.
I'm sad it's only at Lv1, though
I don't remember either, but i definitely remember reading it.
It's balanced through removal cards. And there are more than enough of those in the game. Ive won many times with them attached and ive lost because someone removed them at the right time. You win some you lose some.
Wreckwood, Keizan (warrior), Hundawa.
Key cards: [card]Vengeful lianas[/card], [card]Being at one with nature[/card], [card]Crown of the border[/card], and [card]Mask of Quercus[/card] for some mage defense.
You could also swap Keizan for Fe'y to add some [card]Regeneration[/card]s to the deck.
I ran a wreckwwod deck when vengeful lianas was first released as it finally made WW a playable char. Now with 'Being at one'... its even better. Just work to keep him alive and after a few turns he'll be a beast.
You can also run a wreckwwod, keizan (mage), rockspeaker combo. Wreckwood's attack will constantly get higher while rockspeakers defense does the same. Keizans bonus to spirit will help vs mages until you get to the Q masks. This deck is a little more complicated since many of the spells will be world-tree specific but its definitely doable.
I didnt recieve any points for using [card]Artezil's Heritage[/card] or [card]Offensive[/card].
ColdAvril a écrit :More toolbox, [card]clumsiness[/card], [card]dissidence[/card], etc
so take out 1 vengful for one dissadance or cluminess i can try that
Personally, I dont think thats a good idea. Since you're using 3 germinations and it gives you the free spell equip id keep 3 vengeful and 3 unfortunate encounters. After all, you want as many nature spells equipped as fast as possible before you start dropping buds. If your going to start swapping cards start with root. Germ already provides a root and with the rain dance you can get it back if necessary for more roots. You can discard cards if needed and get them back if you have a bad starting hand. And since you should be discarding to get to your buds anyway it all works quite well. Ive read through a few wild bud posts since i run a wild buds deck myself and ive noticed people like to bring an extra root or 2 to make sure they can lock out the opponent but in general i havent had a problem. I no longer bring extra roots. Thats where my toolbox space comes from. My base deck consists of 3 buds, 3 germs, 3 vengeful, 3 unfortunate, 3 clay and 2 rain dances. Leaves you with 3 spaces to customize. Grab a councilors banner when you can afford it and you still have 2 slots to play with. So if you want a clumsiness and a dissidence you have the space for it. Every few days I swith out the 2 extra cards to see if i can find an improvement. Naturally its your deck so these are just suggestions but just consider that.
You should drop at least 1 [card]Shouldn't Have[/card] and maybe add another [card]That's a real weapon[/card]. You'll never get to use 3 and probably wont use 2 and since That's a real weapon chains its just better overall. Consider [card]The Warrior's Heritage[/card] as well. Once you start stacking effigies, your opponent isnt going to want to kill that char first. So you may need to kill him off yourself.
Playing with a sap mage deck. Got 1 opposing char below -5 and the last char to -18. No points awarded.
These are the highest numbers:
8x Discretion
8x Do you feel lucky punk
7x Amaya 1x foil
7x Simple Attack
7x Fight
7x Short Sword
And so many more...
Trout a écrit :Hmmm. Well, thanks!
Still, should I buy [card]Keep-the-totems [/card] now while it's still somewhat cheap? I assume Sap Hearts cards are at the moment cheaper because of the booster sale, or am I wrong?
[card]Keep-the-totems [/card] Maybe yes! level one is cheap but it need 2 more cards 2 evolve [card]leaf tornado[/card] and [card]the warrior's heritage[/card] so practically your buying 3 cards >_< and of course you need an [card]items have a soul[/card] if your building a deck around [card]Keep-the-totems [/card]
I have [card]Keep-the-totems [/card] and dont use him in an IHAS deck. I use his ability with the [card]Squasher[/card] and [card]Agonda Shell[/card] and use [card]Offering to the World-Tree[/card]. It is possible to run a Hom'Chai deck without IHAS. Its just the method most people use. Kinda like discard, no real strategy involved, just a race to the finish. Not to mention, its much more fun to play.
Lvl 3 Watchmaker cant be sold so dont look for it. Grab a lvl 1 or 2.
Is this for all of your games? Or is it random? Maybe an effect from another character like Keizan. You'll get better responses if you include a screenshot.
So like most here ive been playing with this deck for the last week and i just realized, i have no removals of any kind. Not for items or other permanents and its still a great deck. Makes me even more impressed with this new release. But, now that im aware im thinking which removal counter would work best and what would i replace lol.
Who else is running a deck w/o removals successfully? And those who are using removals what are you taking?
rutse a écrit :FutureMesca a écrit :Agreed.
Agreed. Doublw caly should be changed in one of these 3 options:
1) become sap heart only
2) remove the duration, make it not permanent but work only at the turn its used
3) reduce to+ 2 defthis is one of, if not the only non sap heart nature spells
Yea, that and devouring swarm.
I like it becomcing a Sap heart card. Not changing the duration though. It helps to have it going when you drop wild buds.
Oh! I got it
next legendary card for Sap Heart is Amaya!! Amaya receptacle ^0^
Have the planets aligned already?!
In how many Sap cards is Amaya being attacked by plants?
[card]Wild Buds[/card]
[card]Root[/card]
[card]Thorny Situation[/card]
and probably more with the next sap release...
Maybe she should stay out of the woods... lol she's clearly not welcome.
The councilor's banner is no longer only useful (ok, mostly useful) to noz mages. And there relatively cheap right now, for a legendary card. Unfortunate Encounter + Councilor's Banner --> Wild Buds = get ya some! Get yourself an extra permanent before setting off the shrooms.
And while were talking saps, isn't double germination for hailwalker one of the most beautiful things you've ever seen come out of the forest lol. If you can get that in your first turn your opponent might as well just quit.
Hi, guys. I've jsut started playing this fine game and i'm enjoying it a lot, but I'm a little bit concerned about one thing. So, direct question:
Can I really play without spanding any money and don't be beaten by everyone?
I'm asking this beacuse I'm 10lvl now and I've met some opponents of my level but with some rare cards (from non-free busters, I guess) and I just didn't have a chance in those battles.
Yea you can without spending money. Adventure mode can get you some good cards if you play it enough. And completing trophies will net you crystals to buy new cards. It will take longr than a paying player but its still possible to do well without spending money. Just dont expect to go into the elo rooms lol.
So i broke down and bought a few boosters. This new release is FIRE! Wild buds... A Sap Heart godsend lol. Or Quercussend. Whoever comes first lol. Like most other non-circus players I was pretty pissed but now, not so much. So far im 50/50 with discard and considering that im running mages, thats pretty damn good. The meat of the deck has to be 3 germinations, 3 vengeful lianas, and 3 unfortunate encounters. After that, the rest is gravy. So far, ive had no need for item removals like freeze. Ran into 1 foamy deck with Galene and the other machinist craftsman. Several other golem decks and naturally some Kotobas floating around. No longer a need for RoD. And thats good since I thought the last sap release was going to be good and sold all 3 to fund my purchases. Big mistake until now. Anyone else enjoying the new cards?
Keep The Totems lv3:
"At the start of the game, 2 items from your deck are placed in your discard pile."
what the?
Meant to be used with [card]Offering to the World-Tree[/card] and of course an IHAS deck.
When Yu Ling use [mysterious aura] and change into undead, Nashi's effect should let her gain 2 attack when she attack, but I didn't see the effect, maybe it is a bug?
That only works from the start of the match
Well.. both of you hope the new character for SAP be good.. Me too... but I will cry if tomorrow, the card is NooB - -!
Agreed. We need a powerhouse. And some more powerful spells to back the chars up.
Its a little underwhelming for a legendary card imo compared to legend Iro who can double wield any 1h weapon and legend Nehant who can use 3 corruptions every turn. Maybe his ability can be like this:
At the start of the game attaches "Root" to one random opposing character.
Odd turns: at the start of the fight the opposing character receives X direct damage where X is the number of nature spells attached to the other opposing characters.
Even turns: at the start of the fight gains X health points where X is the number of nature spells attached to your other characters.
Underwhelming?? Dont get me wrong, ***bip*** idea is good but have you ever played hailwalker with the [card]Mekarmor[/card]? Chaining 2 spells and then a physical attack... Double arachnophobias on a char that starts with 6/9 atk with 4 DD points on top of his +1 atk for casting a nature spell. Thats potentially 18/21 damage on his order bonus. Or a flowering then a arachnophobia. The combos can get crazy. Not to mention being part mage. Using cards like whipser + leaf tornado. Thats a lot of direct damage on top of an atk. And adding nature guem to his race would open up even more cards for him to use. He could be used to replace Wreckwood in the World-Tree guem deck or hold his own in a WT mage deck.
Cossette a écrit :soulst3al3r a écrit :both suck, hard to free chain with both of them. amber dagger does work with warrior version though.
should i change my question? who sucks better hail warrior or hail warrior/mage :P just kidding hes in the story so it just came to my mind.
