[card]In the hands of the gods[/card]. Uncommon. Action. Desert Nomads. Duration 2 turns. Choose 2 opposing characters, they have Defense -2. Immortal: they lose their casts. Chain. Eclipse: an additional Defense -1. Chain.
[card]Naptys' mask[/card]. Uncommon. Jewel Item. Desert Nomads, Immortal. Duration 3 turns. Each time you are wounded, an opposing card attached to a character is discarded. Chain.
[card]Autohealing[/card]. Common. Action. Desert Nomads. Permanent. As this card activates and each time an Immortal is wounded, you heal 1 to 2 Health points, then, if you have all your Health points, this card is discarded.
[card]Curse of the king-pries[/card]t. Common. Action. Desert Nomads. The next Spell played by your opponent is placed in his Hand. Chain if you are a Priest or if your opponent is a Mage.
[card]Blade from Thebirak[/card]. Common. One Hand Sword Weapon Item. Desert Nomad, Warrior. Permanent. Dual Wield. Attack +1 and Defense +1. At the end of the fight, Attack +1 and one of you Immortals heals 2 Health points.

Is it just me or are Immortals becoming a healing version of Witchblades with all the Immortal counter cards that seem to be coming out.

I dont know if it's like withcblades, but all I see is the predictable: Cards to increase max health, heal and remove opponent' cards, as always.

I only said that because cards like [card]In the hand of the gods[/card] and [card]curse of the king-priest[/card] cause played cards to be ignored which have in the past been mainly witchblades and the packs schtick and i just realized the second card I mentioned can't be fully utilized by immortals.

What's going on with the Runic Legion updates? They currently have no cards in the Newcomers booster.
Last update was Nov7th (Aurius) who dropped out on Jan 8th.
Since the last Legion update, we've had:
2x Pirate (Mathurin & Watahata)
2x Nehant (Edrienne & Knarl)
2x Nomad (Netjim & Zehanie)
2x Stone Linker (Intro & Zackarov)
1x Kotoba (Shengdi)
1x Noz (Moira)
1x Zil (Nard)

Runics have the most consistent decks over any other clan, imho. The fact that they already have 1 (sometimes 2) decks in top ELO every week when Centorium is free must be the reason for this delay.

This is a very stupid release because it makes previous cards pointless.

Not to mention [card]In the hands of the gods[/card] makes [card]Surrender[/card] obsolete as well as [card]Naptys' mask[/card] to [card]Desertification[/card].
Though I think Immortals really need a strong update. But what Feerik should have done is not to release it all at once. Maybe they should have release 3 cards first then another 2 in the next Nomad update. With all these new cards for Immortals seems a little overwhelming. At least they can't win the game in 2nd turn like the one from last week's update .

At least with Blade of Thebirak you probably still wanna run Istaryam blade, since you can't run 6 blades, and they dual wield.
Urakia also heals at the end of the turn without having to get damaged, so there is that. Plus, if you run Urakia and Zehanie you have two auto-healing characters to try and weather through AoE attacks.

Yes, regarding Urakia, I didn't mean Zehanie replaces her. It just makes her feel like a weaker character, that's all.
If each of the Immortals is themed around a certain god, why the hell is Urakia simply an underpowered version of Zehanie?
Even her Order is 3x better...
Each of the characters should feel unique.
The swords I can understand that Istaryam will give you the bonuses whether you are in combat or not, and has an extra effect.
The new blade only gives during combat.
Still, all new cards seem like a rehash of older cards.
I'm very disappointed - no imagination at all this time.

I disagree that the new mask replaces Desertification - for Immortals it does, but for Vizier or Temple Guardians it certainly does not.
