An Outcast is a former member of a Guild, and despite no longer belonging to that Guild, ignores Guild restrictions on cards from that Guild.

Example:
Toran the Faithless
Guild: Mercenary

Kotoba Outcast - Tsoutai
Spirit +1 against Mages or Spirit +2 against the Tsoutai.
Turns 1 and 5: Spirit +2 and Defense +1.

This means Toran can use any Kotoba card as long as he meets the Class, Race and Caste requirements.
He only ignores Guild requirements for Kotoba.

This means Toran can use cards such as Katamaru, Mi, Fu, Shi, etc.

The card frame could have a particularity, such as a corner or something with the symbol of the old Guild.

Ardrakar (Nehant Exile); The Fallen (Desert Nomad Exile); The Shadow, Lady of the Nehant (Zil Exile); etc.

Toran the Faithless - Kotoba Exile
- Is NOT Kotoba
- Can use Kotoba cards

Lord Galmara - Kotoba-Zil (or Kotoba-Noz)
- Is Kotoba

He wouldn't become a Kotoba.
"Guild" Exile doesn't count as part of the Guild.
It simply means he can use cards from that Guild.
So no, he wouldn't get bonuses that say "your Kotoba gain", because he's still just a Marauder.

Renamed it Outcast, since the old Ourenos will be classified as Exiled.

So to make it clear, if Ardrakar (Noz) is a Nehantist Outcast, it means she will be seen in Noz decks (not Nehantist), and yet can use Nehantist cards that she meets the requirements for - essentially actions and items without race restriction.

Toran the Faithless could be seen in any deck except Nehantist, since he's Mercenary, and still would be able to use the Kotoba cards.

Not sure.
Moira was only for a short time, and was possessed.
Ardrakar, on the other hand, was corrupted - retained consciousness - and as such makes more sense to be Nehantist Outcast.

All I know is that certain characters who were clearly part of a Guild could be counted as Outcast.

The best example, is Toran the Faithless.
A tsoutai clearly formerly from Kotoba. Makes perfect sense that he knows their ways.

He may know their ways, but would lack their equipment.
