The release was weak push for elfine.
mmm... no.
The release is good.
Now if you compare it with elfine/ourénos, then yeah, but that's hard to compete with it.
The only good cards in this release is the character and the spell for dais.
that permanent removal for Bow-elfines is quite good too.
The Bow + Arrow mechanic isn't that great, right. But it's not bad either.

Sereaphim, however, grand hunt and toffee apple don't chain nor provide chain.
Double Bow plays an Arrow for free.
Vibrating Arrows chain into another Arrow.Vibrating and Sharp Arrows can be placed on wichever character you want.
Does the enemy have that very important character? Kill it.
Sharp Arrows has no chain so i don't get why you mentioned toffee apple ?
Not to forget that toffee apple has no guild and is so harder to counter.
Yea you can chain Vibrating Arrows in other arrow like Vibrating Arrows and get - 2 defense ... or you could get the same with one Elfine Intimidation.
Elfine Intimidation has a much better chain effect.
And it give you the same opportunity to kill key character.
But sure you can play what you want and show us how good this two arrows are.

I think I agree with Sereaphim in that the new Arrows feel a little lackluster.
I'd change the new Arrows as follows:
[card]Sharp Arrows[/card]:
Duration: 4 Turns. This card is attached to the opposing character. +1 to damage suffered.
After the 2nd Turn, an additional +1 to damage suffered.
If you are wearing a Bow, a copy of this card is attached to an opposing out of combat character of your choice.
[card]Vibrating Arrows[/card]:
Duration: 6 Turns. This card is attached to the opposing character. Defense -1.
After the 2nd Turn, an additional Defense -1.
If you are wearing a Bow, a copy of this card is attached to an opposing out of combat character of your choice.
