Other than the character I don't think there's really anything good for the elves. I doubt that the arrows will be used. What elves really need are chainable cards.

[card]Curved shot[/card]: huge removal possibility of chaining really easily
[card]double bow[/card]: great with[card] piercing arrows[/card]
[card]Falling branches[/card]: awesome blast...
And I'm not even talking about the character...

I like the release. Aleshane is badass. curved shot is great. And falling branches is going to be funny with the high spirit mages and the AOE spells.

Need to ask one thing: how much Arrow type items can a character have at the same time?

Removal is alright but what elves really need is an extra + to damages or a - to the opponent's defense with chain. Elves always struggled a little against warriors but now mages all play double clay so it's really difficult against them not to mention that at least before this release more marauders were faster than elves anyways.
Piercing arrows with double bow would be a great combo but to my knowledge piercing arrows are still an item other.
Falling branches is a good card but can only be played by one elf and does 4 damage as he is not a dias and I never claimed it wasn't a good card otherwise.
The character, I will admit is crazy.

Edit: also I predict Falling Branches will be nerfed eventually, either by making bonus only apply to non-AoE or become unique

The way I understand the card description the bonus only applies to the damage done by Falling branches. So if the character who used it is a Dais and has 3 spirit, the total damage will be 7 instead of 4.

[card]Falling branches[/card] is like a better Foilage Blades with + 1 damage and return to deck at the end of the fight .

Yeah that's how I read it too. Looking forward to adding that to my Dais deck I'm tinkering with.
Adventure mode - made to have players try new decks. But Bosses are unbeatable.

Or maybe she just decapitated someone and is turning around for more.

Well you got it backwards.
Elfine need the reverse order of effects.
Something like this:
Readyness
Any Weapons attached to your character return to your Hand.
Choose a Bow or Dagger from your Hand, it is played.
If you chose a Bow, choose an Arrow from your hand, it is played.
If you chose a Dagger, a copy of that Dagger is created and played.
This card returns to your Deck at the end of the fight.
This would allow them to replay Double Bow to trigger the effect that plays an Arrow AND to work with Piercing Arrows (wich should be played after a Bow).
Other than the character I don't think there's really anything good for the elves. I doubt that the arrows will be used. What elves really need are chainable cards.
You mean like playing Double Bow -> Quick Draw -> Arrow (played by Double Bow)?
That's a chain right there.
Taking into account the fact that Alashane reduces opponent Defense by 2 starting at Turn 3, alot of characters have suddenly become very squishy.

But you need to have the right 3 cards in your hand.
And only [card]Piercing Arrows[/card] is a good arrow...
[card]Vibrating arrows [/card] < [card]The grand hunt[/card] or [card]Elfine Intimidation[/card]
[card]Sharp arrows[/card] < [card]toffee apple[/card]
So you end up with 3 arrows and 3 bows and hope that you have both in you hand with a other attack card.
And Double Bow is the worst bow if you don't draw any arrows with him.
The release was weak push for elfine.
The only good cards in this release is the character and the spell for dais.

Deals additional attack equal to her* printed attack. Not his.
Yeah, i know. Grammar Nazi.
Hors ligne
Sereaphim, however, grand hunt and toffee apple don't chain nor provide chain.
Double Bow plays an Arrow for free.
Vibrating Arrows chain into another Arrow.
Vibrating and Sharp Arrows can be placed on wichever character you want.
Does the enemy have that very important character? Kill it.
