It has become apparent to me that most of my friends who played Eredan when it started took a break from it about a year and a half ago. Its a strange phenomenon. I as well as my friends took about 1 year break without each other knowing about it.
I was wondering who else took a break from Eredan and how long?
EDIT: Also if you feel like it; why the break?

i took a break of 2 months... at 2011, first semester.
I think i got bored and was busy, a release every week of six cards got pretty monotone and boring

Stopped playing around the Valentine event. Popped in from time to time but only really came back in August. Hurricane + Hotel makes one desperate for what you can play.
Reason I left was I wanted a break from the long grind and the overwhelming losses in the PVP room.
Adventure mode - made to have players try new decks. But Bosses are unbeatable.

I took a break around the valentyne event because I got Valentyne, but that is all.

took a break twice.
played around november 2010, quit around may/june 2011
played around october 2011 quit around march 2012
playing again..
I wanted to find a card game that really invested in balanced releases. I feel that in this game, you had to invest in the cards that had the most imbalanced combos or a gameplay that had no counter yet. Investing in a guild or a particular gameplay wasn't really the best way to play imo.
e.g.
nomads with solaris/dazzle/heal - really powerful at the start
nehanitst w/ corruptions - how do you fight with 0 health or you get swapped
living nature - im not sure if this is right but there was a combo to it
ozymandias evo - this guy was REALLY STRONG
indigestion - the reason why you have 50 card decks and cheap a new start
heartrending dilemna - T_T
Sure they nerfed some for balance or eventually released counters to some play styles but these releases tell me how valued balance is. Also tells me, the best cards are the newly released ones, so I should keep buying.
why i keep coming back? best art i have found so far, gameplay is also ok (card games that have cards played after a number of turns is really stupid). - and yes i know how insanity is defined..
I mostly just collect the zil cards now since they are so cute..

Why not play other card games too? Elements the game is very balanced(no pay to win), then there is Kingdom's CCG which is ok. Could always play Yu-Gi-Oh on Duelingnetwork

It is quite possible that you are the only person who will ever buy that card

Kingdom is kinda fine , but its market system is bullsh1t .
YGO only support achertype and everyone plays the "meta deck" in the rated room .
Balance ? I would say Shadow Era . Or you can try the new Duels of champions TCG

Didn't take much of a break but I do take a back seat from time-to-time when hard-core-grinding-events are happening.
I also do not participate in weekly trophies that are not in-line with my deck strategy or its requirements are very strict/encourage low fair-play.
I do like the art and am a WitchBlade fan. So yeah... no longer take this game too seriously. I just don't have the time for it as I have a real life too.

What is this "Real Life" you speak of? Is it some sort of game?
