Time to Die + Kotori Kage

Basically, I had enemy Kotori Kage play [card]Transmission of Knowledge[/card] + [card]Time to die[/card] in turn 1, adding [card]The art of tracking[/card] on top of it. TTD doubled Art of Tracking attack boost.
Here is my doubt: text on Time to die states that attack bonus of action played as a chain is doubled. Art of tracking was played not as a chain, but as a character's order bonus. Is this working as intended or a bug?

[Sapphon : Troll]
art of tracking is pulled in game and not played, so time to die should have no effect... same with mastery...
n imho it will ever stay  "intented" -.-'

I disagree with this interpretation.
When you have 3 cards before you, the third is "chained" from the second one because it activates directly after the second one for this character.

See Chimera.
If you play Chimera + In the Name of the Dragon + draconic spell, you don't get Chimera's bonus Spirit.
If you play in the Name of the dragon + chimera + draconic spell, you get Chimera's bonus Spirit.

If you play Sens of Danger + Mark of the Crow -> The Art of Tracking, when the Mark of the Crow activates, The Art of Tracking is already in play ready to activate, and as such counts as a Chain, and you do NOT perform a magic attack.

Likewise, playing Sens of Danger + Time to Die -> The Art of Tracking, when the Time to Die card activates, The Art of Tracking is already in play, and as such counts as a Chain, and gets doubled.

Now that I know this works, I'm using this in my Trackers deck.  Thanks for the info Dr Vlad.

Mm, I tried it the moment I got my hands on the first The Art of Tracking.
You've been missing out! smile

Anyway, using Katamaru is stronger, because you'll get the same bonus, as well as reducing enemy defense. smile

If they even have any spirit.  Runic Warriors for the most part don't have much, if any spirit.

Re : Time to Die + Kotori Kage

I think someone post something like this
with mekachelmist using health potion and mulsti tasking...
and it is work as intended.
just suggestion:
- if people not agree with the word "played as chain" in multitasking, TTD, and such other cards
just change the text to "Next card played"
