Balance out the Guild II (Guild-based Legendary)

As I was stated in other topic, I was thinking the status of 'legendary' is a shame in some of the legendary characters, especially Nehantic Recepticle, in my opinion. I would like to see what other players think. Non-guild based legendary ideas are welcome too. Thanks.

Which one of these legendary characters are too over-powered? (considering their 'legendary' effect , stats, and their order bonus)

My Vote,Lady Yilith and Sevylath should be upgraded,Foam Giant should have a slight stat upgrade and the Courtesians are ok as they are.

Cappucino, again it seems like you didn't quite think it through.

When you ask wich ones are overpowered, you allow us to pick 5 choices.

When you ask wich ones should be downgraded, you only allow 3 choices.
Obviously, all the overpowered ones should be downgraded... so why did you even ask the 3rd question?

Anyway, here's what I'd do about the Legendaries on the short term:
Nehant Receptacle - allow you to choose wich Nehant Spell he plays from your Hand
Ourenos - Lower his Health to 15 or 14.
Iro - Gain Spirit +1, Attack +1 and Defense +1 when you play a One handed Sword (instead of Attack +1 and Defense +1 when you play Kusanagi).

Zil doesn't need an upgrade. He has 15 health, 2 Spirit and 2 Defense. That is INSANE for a Marauder.
He only dies in the first fight you play like a glass cannon, in wich case you deserve him to die...

The purpose of limiting the choices is to make sure I know the opposite meaning of the leftovers. So when I ask 'Which ones of these characters are over-powered?' I limit the choices to 5 so we all know the only one that didnt get picked is the under-powered ones as a legendary out of them 6. Make sense? Its pretty simple. I asked question 2 and 3 is because I am sure there are some of them will be in between, then again, the purpose of limiting the choices for those 2 questions is to identify them. Eg, the less picked ones from 'should be upgraded' will be an inbetweeners if they are in the 'should be downgraded' too.
The other post was more on Nehantic Recepticle, but this one I figured why not explore more into the legendaries and at the same time asking other players opinions.

What kind of a retard would answer differently in those 2 questions?
If I think a legendary is overpowered, then OBVIOUSLY I also think it should be nerfed...

I guess enjoying challenge is pretty rare then.

I don't understand how anyone can have fun when they win because their cards are overpowered, instead of because they (the players) played well.

When the cards are so overpowered that there is no skill involved - only wealth - the game becomes boring to me.
Unfortunately it seems it's headed that way, lately.

This game is starting to become a "richest wins" and being creative is getting less important as "obvious" overpowered combos are released every now and then.

Feerik will ruin themselves if they keep at it.

I would have to agree with you on the creative side of things have given way to whom can buy the new OP Legendary and all the overpriced cards, to one shot or 2 shot opposing characters.  I'd have to say I have more fun against discard decks then I do against Oreo >.>.

ourenos is really the only legendary that sticks out to me as very overpowered when I've faced it, the rest some are very good, some not the best. But OP needs to stop complaining about nehantic receptacle he's not that bad,  the only legendary I've ever gotten is the craptacular doyen-verace whatever maybe I should open up multiple threads to whine about it (yeah I know he can be good in some decks just don't have the cards for him)

Its status quo for eredan to release more and more power creep cards to increase sales, then nerf the worst of them a year later when enough ppl complain, who knows this may happen with oreo but I doubt it, they too worried about pissing off their whales that spend $1000s on this game over balancing it for the rest of us. Just my 2 cent

Yeah way I see it only Ourenos warrants a nerf. I hate Admiral but not her, just the stupid brainless deck that is made with her. Pilkim could use lower stats -1 to both spirit and defense. Zil and Nehant is fine as is. Iro needs a buff badly.


Overall I am quite sad to see how badly Feerik is making the powercreep.

I have said it before and will say it again. The lack of balance planning in this game will be it's downfall.

Some characters are not OP, but the cards that they use is, Example: Admiral Al killicrew using Kan Del lost scroll. But Ourenos is not op becuz of the cards that he uses, he's OP, becuz his Ability is unfair...

Good to see this thread, its nice to feerik see where they are missing... I would like to see feerik doing this to ALL players.

Giving the ability to amiral to play the scroll makes her OP (just see how she "disappeared" from the elo when scroll was banned...)

Actually no, if you see admiral all killicrew on the ELO today, the deck is like:

Filling powder on the enemy and burn with Flames of Phoenix.

The kan-del lost scroll is unbalanced, +8 attack to admiral al killicrew AND chain... It should loose at the most, 6 powder points, NOT EVERYTIME 6 POINTS! Could be randon, just like, sometimes go 2, sometimes go 0, sometimes go 5, but not everytime 6... For a common card this is WAAAAy unfair...

There's some cards that i do think that feerik should balance on the next big nerf(and i know that it will happen they always o this OP Shit...)

This are the main OP cards today... And staff could change some cards to good ways, just like they did with Cursed Sword/Armor...

Luminosity dont work for itens, and its an mage card, if replaced by a Damage spell, could turn down a enemy.

100000 Volts is situcional, if 100000 volts is attrackted by attrack lightining, it will not ignore the oposite cards, becuz they'r already played... I use tunder mages, its hard to make it ignore all the cards of the enemy, 100000 volts is better used as a permanent remover + spirit.

Difference of opnion is unique <- FAIR

Sorry, but most decks dont got Warriors, and Pack already got a god dammit High defense and attack, they need more? The only weakeness of pack is the spirit... Now we got a good DK deck(magic and warrior) but only Warriors with magic attack counter pack? Oh come on, give me some break...

like i always said cancel cards are just dumb, when they cancel every kind of card, if warriors are less competitive because they took a lot of damage, and you want to buff them, just creat damage reduction cards

It looks like you don't know what Ourenos does.
Go read the card.

Obesity used has no restrictions.
General Fray has class and guild restriction.

Obesity only works against actions.
General Fray doesn't work against Warriors.

Obesity chains into Actions.
General Fray chains into The Pack cards.

Obesity gives +2 defense to most Nomads.
General Fray gives +2 defense to the user and +1 Attack to the your other The Pack characters. This is the only part that's overpowered.
It should just be +1 MIN Attack to your other The Pack.

Remove the defense bonus, nerf the attack bonus to "Min Attack +1", and it's good.
The bonuses are too good, but wanting a penalty is silly.

I'm reviving this thread because I still STRONGLY believe that the Legendaries need to be rebalanced. I know some people don't like them, I for one LOVE the idea of guild legendaries and would like to see more (maybe legendary guild action/spell/theurgy/items next?). That being said, when you look at the power of the first Legendary (iro) and the most recent (ourenos) there is a HUGE power difference. It's my belief that they should all be equally powerful. I would love to hear what any of the staff think about this as well. It is clear that most players agree that a rebalancing should be done. Sapphon, Do you have any input about this?
