First of all thanks to Feerik for refreshing the Starter Decks, specially for introducing Starter Decks for more Guilds.

Here I'd like to give it a try at reviewing the Decks on various degrees.

[Noz'Dingard Envoys]

A pretty decent mage deck. Has some very nice combos that will challenge a new player to become better while having fun.
Cards of Note:
- [card]Fireball[/card] Great signature Uncommon useful in itself and for upgrade
- [card]Tadaa! You're a bunny![/card] Great Rare for all kinds of decks
- [card]Magic Study[/card] Another good Uncommon, awesome when played after [card]Temporal Paradox[/card].
- [card]Gravitatron[/card] Yet another good Uncommon
Fun Play:
- [card]Temporal Paradox[/card] + [card]Magic Study[/card]
- [card]Magic Study[/card] -> Chain [card]Temporal Paradox[/card] into a damage spell
I would only replace [card]Double or Quit[/card] with another spell, but it's just a Common.

[Zil Warriors]

A decent marauder deck.
Cards of Note:
- [card]Assassination[/card] Great signature Rare
- [card]Disappearance[/card] Good defensive Uncommon
Fun Play:
- [card]Target Locked[/card] -> Play two Actions
The only thing I have to point out is that while none of the cards felt off, only Assassination stands out. Feels a little empty compared to other Starters.

[Kotoba]

Solid deck.
Cards of Note:
- [card]Wakizashi[/card] Once an awesome Rare, it has steadily declined as new cards came out. Now with cards like [card]Glory to the Emperor[/card] and [card]Kaiken[/card], it's a very lackluster Rare. To make it worse, it's true usefulness is tied to other, also declining rares: [card]Tsume[/card], [card]Katana[/card] and [card]The Emperor's Speech[/card].
- [card]Kaiken[/card] Nice Uncommon. One of the few useful Dual Wield options for Kotoba.
- [card]Firon[/card] Nice Uncommon used in several decks, specially Golem.
Fun Play:
- [card]Win using Strength[/card]
Given the somewhat outdated nature of [card]Wakizashi[/card] I would replace it with [card]Weapons at Will[/card].
I would also add a [card]Iaido[/card] for more interesting gameplay.

[Desert Nomads]

A nice all-round deck, but extremely overpriced considering the cheap cards in it.
Cards of Note:
- [card]Disembodiment[/card] Decent but unimpressive. extremely low price Rare.
- [card]Stitches[/card] Great Uncommon.
Fun Play:
- [card]Sacred Gift[/card] -> Play [card]Basking in the Sun[/card] or [card]This Tomb...[/card]
- [card]This Tomb...[/card] + [card]My Turn![/card]
I'd replace [card]Disembodiment[/card] with [card]...will be your GRAVE![/card] or [card]Forced March[/card].

[Sap Hearts]

Very good deck.
Cards of Note:
- [card]Quick Draw[/card] Awesome signature Sap Heart Rare. Good even after [card]Briskness[/card] was released.
- [card]Amber Dagger[/card] A great Uncommon. Enough said.
- [card]Hit for Hit[/card] Another great Uncommon that combos greatly with both Amber Dagger and Quick Draw.
Fun Play:
[card]Hit for Hit[/card] + [card]Quick Draw[/card] or [card]Amber Dagger[/card]
I don't think anything needs changing in this Deck. A great, fun starter deck.

[Pirates]

Nice deck. Lacks some fun combos, however.
Cards of Note:
- [card]Infernal Cricket[/card] The only card of note but an expensive and powerful one.
Fun Play:
- Nothing of note
Could use a notable Uncommon like [card]Stink Bomb[/card] or a fun combo like [card]Reboot the Machine[/card]

[Nehantists]

Decent deck
Cards of Note:
- [card]Dark Fury[/card] Very nice Rare on its own and for upgrade
- [card]Cursed Black Crown[/card] Nice fun card to get you started on combos
Fun Play:
- Nothing of note
Not exceptionally fun deck.
I'd replace:
- 1x [card]Scroll of Immobility[/card] with 1x [card]Nehant's Inspiration[/card]
- 1x [card]Corruption of the Soul[/card] with 1x [card]Kiss of Nehant[/card]

I think that the nomad one is really blah... disembodiment is not that great compared to the other nice cards the other guilds get. But putting this aside, i think that this update was great!!! everyone gets in their hands a nice card, and a really good incentive for new players

The only deck worth getting IMHO is the Noz (great rare and uncommon), Zil (great rare) and Sap Hearts (great rare again).

Others probably for completion sake. Nehant deck might tempt me with the upgradeable rare.

I agree, Nomads are really... ermm... meh. It does not capitalise at all on their strength and due to their 0 Defense it is a hard deck to play without Forced March. But then it is a starter deck

Remember the tournaments with theses decks, Noz was the ugliest deck in the tournaments.
Nomads was quite well.
After, for price of the rare, of course you're right.

Why all them is 10k for some people and for others are with 82% discount(1.2k) ?

all of them were at 1.2k, until you buy one. they change to 10k after you buy one of the new starter decks

but the old 3 starterdecks (koto, noz n zil) count here too.

if you are an old player and bought the old ones once, all new now cost 10k.

I'm not discussing how good or bad each deck is against each other.
Replacing a bunch of commons is really cheap, so that's not an issue.

The most important thing about the decks should be:
- interesting combos that are fun and challenge players to improve
- a good assortment of uncommon and rare, because they are harder to replace

- Sap Heart has awesome combos and good overall cards.
- Noz has a coherent deck and good overall cards. Temporal Paradox and Magic Study is the only combo.
- Kotoba has a solid deck with good overall cards, with simple combo cards like [card]Win using Strength[/card] and [card]Firon[/card], but a not very useful rare, although an expensive one.
- Zil have a coherent deck and good overall cards. [card]Target Locked[/card] is the only combo.
- Nehant also doesn't have any interesting combo. Nehant's Inspiration damaging you to bring a Cursed Card would be a good card to play with a character already equipped with a Cursed Black Crown. Nightmare would've also been a good character to include in said deck.
- Pirates also got good deck with good cards, but no interesting combos such as [card]Infernal Cricket[/card] + [card]Reboot the Machine[/card].
- Nomads have one combo card ([card]Sacred Gift[/card]), but the rare is super cheap, and Forced March or ...will be your GRAVE! would be much better at teaching the complexity of messing with self-damaging cards (and more fairly priced).

Sapphon said on the French forum that we should have a news about the new stater decks on Friday.

Actually this is partially incorrect.

Before "mercenary starters" was added through the Tutorial, you used to get a Noz, Zil or Kotoba deck for free (I picked Noz), and the other 2 would be available in the store for 1200 Crystals. That means I only bought 2, and that must be why I still had 1 "discount" left when the new ones got released.

After the "mercenary starters" was added through the Tutorial, I suppose you don't get any of the Noz, Kotoba or Zil starter decks for free, wich means you had to make 3 purchases in order to get them.
In that case, you no longer have discount available since the new starters were released.

I wish there was something somewhere letting me know I was only going to get one discount. I would have chosen my starter more carefully. I just chose a Kotoba one. Wish I would have chose Zil or Noz now.
