As the title suggests, I think "Unknown Class" in Courtesan characters and cards only, should be replaced with Bard.

Specifics:
- Bards can play a new card type: Song/Tale, just like Mages play Spells, Priests play Theurgies and Craftsmen play Craftsman Items.
- There can be non-Courtesan Bards as well.
- Kimiko, Psalm, Tristan and Dandy become Bard Courtesans.
- Cacophony and Sitar Hero become Songs/Tales (no longer belong to Courtesan Caste)
- Sitar Hero damage is based on number of Bards instead of Unknown Class Courtesans.

The Bard Icon should be a musical note, or a bard instrument like this (without the circles):

That's why I said Unknown Class IN courtesan characters and cards.

Although, what would Bards have of special that other classes don't? :S

What fun decks would be lost because of that? None...

All Courtesan cards that count the number of "Unknown Class Courtesans" would instead count the number of Bards.

Yes good idea. And bards are peoples that often wander from a country to an other. So it fits perfectly with the courtesan theme.

Good idea and I've voted for it, but...
Maybe "Artist" sounds better?
There will be plethora of ground to expand later on.
Not only singers, but every art producing proficience may come in game this way.
Maybe someone from them can animate drawings, or statues, or even give life to song, making a persona out of it.
Unlike Craftsmans that tend to focus on practical things, they'll be focusing on more spiritual matters.
Like to ROCK YOU TO THE DEATH!!!

And Song, hmm, it just an Action. "Action Song" then.

Didn't you know? He is a beast on the Sitar. He kicks ass at Sitar hero 4. I had him over for a party last Friday and he got totally wasted and still managed to beat me.

If you change all the unknown class by "bard" or something like this, a deck with Dandy, Marzhim and other courtesan can't really use Sitar Hero, actually, it is possible.
Even this deck is only for fun, it's a pity to reduce the way you can actually use the card to give a name to an "unknown" class.

After look again on the card, OK, you count only unknown courtesan and not all the unknown class as I remembered.

Exactly.
Only Unknown Class Courtesan characters AND cards:

They are entertainers: They play, sing, make jokes or simply tell stories.

By your logic perhaps Tristam shouldn't be able to play Sitar Hero or Enchanted Harp, either, since you think he doesn't look like someone who can sing or play an instrument.

But that's not even the point.
I think you have the wrong idea of what Bards are.
Bards aren't the goofy, silly singers most "movies" make them out to be.
A Bard isn't necessarily tied to music.
A Bard can be a very serious, old barman who captivates everyone with amazing stories of past events.

Regarding Artist, a Craftsman is an artist too.
So Artist doesn't make sense because its meaning is too vast and includes existing concepts.
Bard is, in my opinion, the best word to describe "entertainer" in the "age" depicted in Eredan.

Bards are just poets essentially. Perfect name for the class.
