It's stupid, people who try to win using one way and you take it from them (i.e. they play [card]Crystal storm[/card] and u remove their card before it does damage.) they quit. Or they try and one shot you, but you deny their damage they quit...it seems this happens most with players who are level's 19+ since but even worse among the 20+, it's disgusting to think the only way these players play is if they know they can win. I found it's more fun trying to come back from a set back as losing a character. those that build around one character or spell are not really thinking in terms of strategy, bet they only build decks others have posted, they don't look at their cards and try new things....in other words MENTALLY WEAK! they should just quit and let those who ENJOY playing play. ok well that's my 2 cents thanks.

nah, there just no serious punishment for leaving. I mean in it's OK if you leave at the beginning of the game when you are scared of enemy's deck, but on turn 3-4 if you leave just because of you won't win is just cowardly. You can win – you stay; you can't win – you leave. Stupid strategy, no one will get any Xp or crystals from this. I think Feerik just need to make some penalty from leaving and “too-much-time-to-decide” situations, like 5-10 minutes preventing you to play.

I usually only quit:
1 - when a trophy/event is going on AND the opponent is using a Discard deck.
Note: I leave at the start of the match.
2 - when a trophy/event is going on AND the opponent is using a freaking ELO deck in the Leveling Room that has nothing to do with the trophy/event.
Note #1: Against this trash I usually go do other stuff, like reading/posting on the forum while wasting their time, and take too long to decide before turn 2 ends.
Note #2: For those that didn't get it, if a trophy/event is going on, take your ELO decks to the ELO rooms.
If none of the above is the case, I find it stupid that one would leave just because enemy deck has a clear advantage or because your first turn didn't go as planned.
In the end, the opponent only stays if you have a deck that he thinks he will win against, but you then surprise him with an unexpected strategy.

Well, even against discard, I only quit when there's a trophy/event going on.
Using discard decks during events is total disrespect for fellow players.

And again an opponent left just so i wouldn't get a perfect...lame, annoying....those people should really get punished somehow.

I mean the people who play the game, but leave right at the end just to deny you a perfect.
That's ridiculous.
Leaving at the start is another thing. It doesn't waste your time.

still...
Discard got a pretty huge nerf with the new deckbuild rules...
besides playing against discard is just like playing against any other deck, You just need to kill everyone by turn 5/6(depending on the number of cards from your deck...) And don't think I say that because I play a discard deck, I don't...!

Ofcourse not, I think you say that because you play beatdown.

yeah, maybe if you only play super slow turtles decks....
But in this case I Suppose you win a good part of your games by discard....

I have a Discard deck.
I use it in Adventure mode, nothing else. Nothing else at all.
I hate its gameplay. It's a personal taste.
I find its gameplay highly destructive.
Discard does "damage" and ruins your gameplay at the same time by greatly reducing the chances you will be able to pull off your strategy.
If I succeed with a Discard Deck, I'm playing my game, and my opponent isn't playing anything.
---
Hand Denial, wich I also don't really play that much, is a little more acceptable as it requires setup and is very limited.
Usually it doesn't have 3 characters capable of using Cutting All Ties, wich means you can choose your opponents in an order that will prevent that spell from being chained.
And once the effect ends, you're back in business. Hand Denial "delays" your game. It doesn't destroy it.
---
In any case, Leveling Room is not really a place for competitive decks.
It's usually where players do their trophies and level characters.

Complain more about discard, maybe Feerik will just delete every card they made that gives those effects.
Before, when A New Start were the only counters to discard... I could see the reason to hate it so much. Now, with so many cards that return cards to your deck, Discard is just another deck with a win condition as viable as killing all of your characters.

+1 That is why A New Start dropped in value. Not to mention that discard mechanism is part of most of major card games anyway.
Like any gameplay, there are plenty ways of countering them.

The ones who actually hates discards didn't face the new Zil priest with all their cards in our deck.
Every card you draw is from the opposite deck and they recycle like hell.
And they buff attack like crazy.
And you can't do nothing...
Discard is a piece of cake beside this broken deck.
Did I say I hate Zil in general

I'm not saying Discard is OP.
I am saying I do not like playing against Discard because of its game-destroying mechanics.
It's just not fun for me. Even if I win.

Same thing for the Zil priest, not fun to get cards from the other deck and no-one from mine.
And in addition, I loose....

thanks for the [card]fright[/card] mate, it'll look really pretty in my deck, and even better on your character

I'd have to say discards are annoying, but yeah ELO decks during events are stupid. I think people who use them during events just do it to feed their feeble ego's since they are probably tiny (in all senses of the word) in real life. But I will use [card]Mental syphon[/card] to discard opposing player's [card]flames of the Phoenix[/card] as a defense against some powder decks. or to get cards that are in my discard pile when used by a character who has [card]Beyond Vision[/card] attached to him.
But again back to subject, I had quite a few people today 1 person who left just as I was getting perfect on them also...wtf!!! oh well hehe comes with the game I guess. But I will use discards during certain events, which require me to remove them from opposing player or myself...to get points.

Wow it's getting to the point where I have at least 1 out of 5 people running before I perfect them think I started making a list, and I'm sharing it with trusted friends only, I won't post on site with list, and none of my friends should either, but going to compile a list of folks, and the ones that seem to leave right before a perfect are our only real concern, and only if they do it on a frequent basis. for now anyways

I bail if there's no chance what so ever in me winning (VERY often), and then only if I'm not on an event or challenge. Most the time I hang out in PVE.
Adventure mode - made to have players try new decks. But Bosses are unbeatable.
