The two situations are comparable because Norad was offensive to Feerik and calling someone the f-word is offensive to gays. I'm sure you guys won't see the parallel but anyone with any compassion or first hand experience (my brother is gay) would try to be more understanding. Just keep the homophobic comments to yourselves is all I ask.

Lodir is after all a fictional character of this game and has nothing to do with real people.

If a black character was created for this game and someone called him the n-word on the forums, would you just leave that alone and not delete the post?

You don't have to ban anyone but at least delete the post/edit the offensive parts and ask them not to do that again.

Agree with Zurga.

He called Lodir gay, which IMO is just a misused of words as I think he's just referring to how Lodir's artwork looks "girly" (Again, the word was chosen because Idk what other words to describe it). I know a few gay friends too, and none of them look/behave like how some media/cartoon/wtv trying-to-be-funny shows depicts them. (or in this case, behaving like Lodir's artwork)

Even then calling Lodir "gay" and "Fat F**" should be only offensive to Lodir. It's like calling some guy you dislike with thick glasses nerd, doesn't mean that he thinks all guys with thick glasses are nerds.

I agree it's still rude and if someone keeps going like this often then it requires some looking into. But as a tongue-in-cheek joke it should be okay.

Thanks. Just for the record, the f-word is as offensive to homosexuals as the n-word is to blacks or any other racial slur. That should give you, and many of the others on here, some understanding as to why it shouldn't be said.
