And that a win is only 50% likely to happen.
And that meeting specific trophy criteria (like the perfect by turn 6 or triple kill) is even less likely to happen.
And that players have a life.
And that paying players shouldn't be forced to spend money on anything besides Boosters. It should be a "bonus" not a necessity.

Just remove the option to purchase Energy and Trophies from the game. It's retarded.

well i see what you are pointing at but i dont see it in this event... actually there were only 2 trophies out of 8 that needed the help of friends or much luck with your opponent... the perfect win 6th round of the light side and the destroy all in one turn of the dark side...

the other 6 trophies were totally manageable by oneself... so if 1/4 of the whole thing requires the help of others or a decent fairplay i think thats more then a fair bargain no?

as for the other point i do agree... feerik indeed seems to be opening rather strange ways for players to spent money on the game... but in the end its the players choice to do that no? of course for me the prices for enery and favors... and trophies and whatnot is way too high.. i only spent money on energy once (phoenix event and i didnt even get the legendary version) and then never again...
but the problem is that as long as there are enough players out there who will buy the things for even that high a price... feerik wont change it

The choice is an illusion when there is compulsion.
They say women do that with sales.

First off, a truly free player is unlikely to have all the decks needed to complete all the various trophies without alot of help and frustration.

Second, 90% of the players quit when they see a deck they think they can't win against.

So your argument is only good on paper.
When you get down to what really was happening in the Leveling Rooms, trust me it was not a coincidence.
When I showed with Shulong to do the triple kill trophy, 90% of the decks with low spirit quit instantly. But the decks with high spirit ALWAYS stayed.

When I showed with Courtesans to do the triple kill trophy, around 60% of the decks flat out quit on me.
Temple Guardians stayed.

When I showed with Zil Mages to do the "stat increase" trophy, half the decks quit on me.

But when a deck had superiority against me, they didn't quit. And I knew I was gonna lose.
What did I do? I quit too. The chances to find a deck I have a good chance of beating AND doesn't quit on me were low. That's the sad truth.

So yeah, the fact this Event was time consuming was the REAL reason why people Quit so much.
Because they didn't have time to waste on lost causes.
