It's very easy to claim card being OP if you use only half of it description. We want to win the game just doing damage, screw control, screw possibility of reading opponents moves. Ecstasy was in top ELO? Lets cry on forums to nerf the card we can't play against. What, Wild Buds? HOW DARE THEY. NERF!
...Now we have General Fray. Playable only by pack. Ignoring next card played by non-warrior. Luminosity? Playable only by Mage. Obesity? Playable by all, ignoring only action. This game is not about cards, but about decks.
Yes, obesity make your def=2, but ignoring action most time stops aggro deck, which most of the time somehow reduce/ignore your armor. The only idea of card is to prevent KO of char, not 1s it.
Luminosity? Mage deck already hes a lot of damage, removes, armor and other control.
What about Pack? What control they had? They had decent burst, 1 item to stop mages(which still can be discarded, which means gg), and a lot of armor to stop others. And now they have ignore. So now they can be successful in Elo, and this pisses a lot of people. IMO treads like this will post regularly every time new cards released. Because, cry is way easier then learn)

the pack is built for damage
when we play a gen fray it means we let go of the damage and start to prolong the fight... thats not the way the pack works

hit them fast hit them hard
with gen fray
they get 1 more turn

Man, when u saw a 50 card deck? A good one i mean? Only newbiesclericsnomads use +25, becuz they got a slow deck, and a lot of cures help too... 50 cards is no mistake, only use 50 card who are real bad players... 20 cards rule.

people say 50 cards is ridiculous
im just waiting for a 50 card deck to start owning people

again regarding general fray
every other guild/class has something that works somewhat like this in the new set

Actually it started to win games because of a card that made you win if you had enough card in your deck, and because Magic have tutor cards. Without them, 200 cards decks are just fun homerules decks.

You can't expect anything like this in Eredan.

In eredan, the focus is to kill the 3 oponents(in some decks, make the guy stay with no cards) to kill 'em all, you can choose to be fast and attackive, or slow and defensive, as i said, the best choise, is opt to a deck with the minimum of cards, becuz you can do the best combos and this stuff... A defensive deck, will opt to stay with more cards, but he still got combos and this stuff, so it goes to 20-30 deck... The meta-game, is not stay with a lot of cards in your deck, the meta is to kill the enemies... I dont care about make 200 cards decks or infinite, but the best decks, will be the fast ones, becuz you know when the card is going to show up.

obesity can be used by almost all deck types. best used by nomads.

gen fray - limited to the pack (unless a noz uses dragons wit haha)

and no twasnt a lulz deck only
going over 60 isnt a rare thing in MTG

i use the pack and the card that hits me the hardest is distraction anyone running 2 distraction will beat me 2/3 of the time just be smart and play it 2nd or play it when you go 1st.

there are other cards that f me up to but that one has no restrictions in any deck.

but in Eredan,the max card in player hands is 8

The only 50 deck that good enough for fun play is master-mage marzhin deck

Chain The Pack card.

Also, the Defense +2 bonus could be changed to Spirit +1 and Defense +1.
Because as it is the defense on The Pack is overwhelming against many decks, and useless against others (Evil Eye, Portal, etc), Casters, etc.

I don't think "general fray" is overpowered, if and only if the effect it has which is a problem for me is a bug. I have noticed that when general fray blocks a card, the card becomes completely useless. I mean this with reference to discard pile cards, i.e if general fray is used to stop a necrosis, or a tsoutai action, or a weapon, when the card which was blocked is pulled back out of the discard pile (by ouait ka/ceaches ixef, weapons at will, allegiance, hungry void, e.t.c) it does not perform or deliver its normal effect anymore. I'm assuming this is a bug which may not have been noticed until now, and if that is the case, I hope it can be rectified, because if that's how general fray is supposed to work, then it is definitely overpowered.
