I hate it but this just keeps happening. I try to challenge some people and then others join or leave and the list spazzes all over the place right when I do and then I select someone many levels higher than me. The list of people needs to not update as often or hold steady in such a way that when I'm trying to challenge I don't end up challenging random people.

When you've got a deck well-built and have a high level, sure.. e__e

Looked at how the higher levels play there deck and improve your own deck based on that.

I don't need to do that to improve my deck. You're ignoring my statement altogether...

Look at all the wise ass replies here...
There's an option for random confrontation.
So I agree with the OP...
If they don't want the ability to challenge specific players, remove it.
Otherwise just implement it properly.
As to what is fun or not, it's subjective to each individual.
Players that bring all pimped up high crystal cost decks into Leveling Rooms deserve no respect whatsoever.
You got ELO to show your imba decks.
All I see is players who like to butcher weak decks, and so they hang out at the Leveling Rooms with their Noz Blast, Wild Buds and whatnot...
You learn from playing against decks evenly matched against yours, where good decisions matter.
You learn nothing from being butchered by a powerful deck where no matter what you do you have no chance.

I don't want any arguments about deck strategy. I'm just saying that it is very hard to challenge specific people. What if I want to fight with my friend yet I hit the person 2 above him and 4 levels higher that can easily defeat me? I feel that I should be able to challenge people I want to without the list spazzing out every 3 seconds like it does.

lol nurvus im sure you got up to the level you are by playing your good decks only in elo...get off your soapbox.

so then are you suggesting more different lvl rooms like say lvl 13-15, lvl 16-18, lvl 18+?
cause i believe that has been suggested before

their will come a day when the Katoba return to being a threat to all other guilds. I await that day.

how about adding your friends name to your friend list and challenging him from there... you still get crystals and dont need to bother ureself with the level room jumpings...
the upper a name stands the easier it is to click on him instead of challenging the person under or above him in the list... i have no idea about how to fix this jumping up and down but maybe there would be less jumping if you could sort the level room by other criteria then the name... namely the level, elo, perma-elo

We're already working on it (better random challenge system, and easier way to challenge someone without the list going crazy).

God agrees, and i'm glad to see they are working on it . . . but you cant always base a persons deck on their level. I am level 20, but sometimes I like playing weaker decks just because they are fun. I have been completely dominated by people as new as level 12 when I play my craftsmen discard deck. I don't use it to win, I use it because it is an awesomely fun deck to play with. I know others who also play with weaker decks just for the fun of it.

What good decks?
I play fun decks.
To this day, I have never, ever, bothered paying loads of crystals to play any of the "top ELO" decks.
I've had mostly fun trying new strategies and such.
And I've played my share of ELO.
I only use Leveling Room for trophies.
