I'm overall really happy with how this deck has been playing. I just wanted some input to see if anyone had any suggestions on how I could still improve it. this is what I'm currently running.

[card]Saphyra the zil[/card]
[card]Abomination[/card]
[card]Zil, the living shadow[/card]

[card]Artrezil's blade[/card] x2
[card]Fist blade[/card] x2
[card]Shadowblade[/card] x2
[card]Telendar's black blade[/card] x2

[card]assassination[/card]
[card]Master assassin[/card] x3
[card]Hidden blades[/card] x3

[card]At daggers drawn[/card]
[card]chink in the armor[/card]
[card]Dagger master[/card]
[card]Difference of opinion[/card]
[card]it is time[/card]
[card]Offensive[/card]
[card]time to die[/card]

Was thinking of trying to put in [card]Artrezil's heritage[/card] but not sure if it's necessary.

I'd say put Artezil's Heritage in over It is Time. What's it really doing? It's either giving Abom +1 Attack and +1 Defense, turning Saphyra into a 9/11, or giving your opponent Defense = 0 if you use it on Zil.

It is time sets up a beautiful combo. Say you get two daggers on Saphyra in the first turn. Next turn you can play Dagger Master (reducing Saphyra's attack to 0/0) and chain it (since its a Zil card) into it is time to get Saphyra back to 9/12.

If you want to drop cards to make room for Artrezil's (although you don't have to anymore), maybe drop one hidden blades?

Of course that's just another way of using it - I wouldn't discount how useful it is on Zil, especially with all these defence-boosting pack/mages running around

Agreed, and his turn order is not the easiest to get, 9 times out of 10 an opponent will pick abom on turn 2 instead of zil.

you have 8 daggers: 4 of them are NOT dual wield. I see trouble there - instead of 2 fist blades, try 2 living dagger. Then you may have a go at once upon a time instead of it's time so you can activate the daggers automatically in a pinch and still have the order bonus.

edit: where is dark stone heart?

It is Time chains too, Artrezil's Heritage doesn't.
In a deck that aims to finish opponents off with Dagger Master, Artrezil's Heritage is the one "niche" card, not It is Time.

Your right, it has come up, and been a problem. Damn, I knew I would be kicking myself for evolving my [card]living dagger[/card]s, I just didn't think they were any use in a dagger deck anymore...guess I was wrong. How about [card]The Dagger of sufferance[/card]? Is that a good dagger for the deck?

I only have one dark stone heart and it's in my Pack deck. But your right maybe I should switch it over.

[card]Living Dagger[/card] heals you when it activates.

In this deck, considering you're likely to remove the dagger with Dagger Master, it'll probably be a good idea to have Living Dagger instead of Life Devourer.

you don't need 8 daggers... (6 is already a good number ^^)
life devourer and living dagger are not the best for a zil dagger deck.
dagger worth being in the deck are
artrezil's blade.
shadowblade
telendar's black blade
and dagger of sufferance.

I agree 6 is good, but I see [card]telendar's black blade[/card] as more of a removal card than a dagger since it will disappear the turn after it's played.

your deck doesn't rely only on dagger master. the fact that it disappears isn't a problem...
all you wantis a dagger that activates immediately and has a removable effect. (besides, it chains on saphyra)

but there's the problem if the dagger disappears before you use dagger master you may have a problem on the battle, but still a good dagger

i think [card]living dagger[/card] goes better than [card]dagger of sufferance[/card]
cause the 2hp can realy save your life sometimes

when you play dagger master only, I think you focus too much on the dagger and it makes you less effective...
and living dagger isn't better than dagger of sufferance!
living dagger activate after the fight.
maybe it heals you, but you may not even use the +2 attack...
if your character doesn't fight twice, if you play dagger master or if you get one shotted...
whereas the dagger of sufferance will always give you the attack bonus immediately.
and the +1 def for shadow and abo is a bit like a +1 health against physical attack... ^^'

but dagger of sufferance is not great either. you ought to have 2 [card]artrezil's blade[/card], 2 shadow blade and 2 telendar's blackblade. and if they discard in 2 turns, that's something hidden blades is for, isn't it?

nope. that's just about right, although see what you feel more comfortable with, you can throw one living dagger there if you want. i'd take chink in the armor too and put another at daggers drawn instead
