Hi friends!

I started to play at Eredan only a few days ago and i want to build a decent starter deck with a limited budget, 25k of cristals.

I have this deck in mind:

[card]Sakina, Priest of Naptys[/card]
[card]Shrikan[/card]
[card]Ahlem[/card]

3x [card]Basking in the Sun[/card]
3x [card]Heal the guardians[/card]
3x [card]Punishing the Unpure[/card]
3x [card]Under the Sun[/card]
3x [card]Punto di sutura[/card]
2x [card]Solar Plastron[/card]
2x [card]Harshness[/card]
1x [card]Storm of Ptol'a[/card]

Tips? Advices? Can be good for a beginner? Maybe i need more attack...

Or do you have in mind another deck, better than this one, that i can build with the same budget (25k of crystals)?

It kind of looks like a heal/stalling deck but even so its missing some Litany and Supplication. Temple Guardians need Forced March so save up for 2 to 3 of them

If you feel like you need some more damage and you want to focus on the priest side of the deck you can add [card]Swarm of Scarabs[/card]

[card]Forced march[/card] is one of the bests cards for guardians, it reduces all damage you take, so if you have 2 actives you can use cards like [card]Disembodiment[/card] without getting any damage

[card]Litany[/card] and [card]Supplication[/card] are fine too, also you can change Shrikan for [card]Vizier Mahamoud[/card] or maybe [card]Djamena[/card]

I know some of this cards are expensive, but I think it's better to save some money for the marchs or any other good and expensive cards than wasting the crystals on cheap and bad cards that you'll replace soon

I know, so what? I won't suggest to buy a bunch of cheap cards, maybe he can choose 1 o 2 good cards and it's a bigger improve for his deck

He just started a few days ago and he got a decent deck, in a few days more he'll probably got enough crystals to get some more cards

with sakina in last level u will only need 1 forced march to not get any damage from disembodiment

personally i tried to build a temple guardian deck around healing the guards and this staff... [card]glaubenseid[/card]... this and disembodiement are the only healing cards that are recycleable by the plactron thus creating a nonstop healing orgy with 5hp aoe plus 1 maxhp each time... i also thought about using kroub and his craftman item to further increase healing dealt by the priests... but he is no temple guardian so he will die quite quick

You would probably want to use [card]Weapons at Will[/card]. The last I look it is cheap and you can load up your deck with cheap weapons. But this deck is easily counterable though... cheap but counterable.

I would recommend a Tracker deck.

If you build a Kotoba Warrior deck, I recommend [card]Furagu[/card] to deal with mages.

Furagu totally screws compendium, wild buds, etc, but also makes your team hard against any kind of spellcasters. It's not even funny.

As far as the budget goes, 25k usually covers Characters only for a cheap deck.

Now i can afford only 1 [card]Weapons at will[/card], i can protect it with [card]Vigilante[/card]...

How many weapons i must have in the deck?

Weapon at will deck guide :
Setup :
Asajiro / Jian qiao / Sen'Ryaku

3 Weapons at will
1-2 card that can get WAL back from grave ( watcher,money eye... )
The rest : Weapon of your choice

Playstyle : just throw weapon to your grave , use 3 weapons at will . If you can't finish your opponent before your deck run out or cards in your grave get removed from play , you lose .

Pretty simple , and boring .

In my oppinion , Hom'Chai last man standing has a familar playstyle , but more fun to play

that's completely wrong: 3 [card]weapon at will[/card].
9 weapons: 3 [card]kaiken [/card]and 3 [card]life devourer[/card] 3 [card]taîchi sword[/card]
[card]kensenseI[/card]
[card]the best defense[/card]
3[card] iron wall[/card]
2-3 [card]Firon[/card]
and then you got the toolbox: [card]dissidence[/card], [card]clumsiness [/card]and lets say [card]The Untouchable[/card]
