Re : Beginner's Noz Deck Advice

its awful mate, id delet it and start again.

Pilkim and Aeronaunt are ok together but use another mage instead of Arkalon, focus on spells, draconian spells if u can.

Do u have another noz mage? if so add in dragons breath.

Do u have any crystals to buy new cards??

Re : Beginner's Noz Deck Advice

See, that's the first question you should make:
Do you have enough crystals to buy Dragon's Breath (and other expensive cards)?

If not, I'd recommend replacing Arkalon with Alishk (dragon) since that way you can focus around Draconic Spells, wich is great news for Pilkim.

Relatively cheap cards worth having in your collection for this and future decks (dragon knights, witchblades, compendium, etc) are:
3x [card]Magic Study[/card]
3x [card]Than the Sword[/card]
2-3x [card]Magic Attack[/card]

Other cheap cards you might want for this deck:
1-2x [card]Master-Mage Robe[/card]
3x [card]Magic Servant[/card] (this is not a spell!), [card]Illusory Reflection[/card] OR [card]Double Clay[/card]
If you invest alot in high defense cards, consider getting [card]Dragon Fangs[/card]

[card]Freeze![/card] is good, but [card]Breaker[/card] is more reliable.
---

There are stronger, more expensive cards you could use instead, such as [card]The Last Word[/card], [card]The Last Action[/card], [card]Gust[/card] (for high spirit decks), [card]Mastery[/card], etc.

Re : Beginner's Noz Deck Advice

Actually, Master-Mage robe and Magic Study would help a lot. Compendium is a fun deck to play if you can get high spirit and strong spells out fast. Sinking (aka the cheap fireball) is great. Any permanent card that raises a mage's spirit permanently is good. If you don't have many crystals, Magic Study or Breaker might take a bit of saving up for, but I'd probably do that to get rid of the Discretions, Cubit Chakra, Blast, Weapon Dance, and other non-spell non-item cards.

Re : Beginner's Noz Deck Advice

Thanks for the suggestions guys! So what I'm getting from this is:

Save for Dragon's Breath
Get rid of discretions, Cubit Chakra, Blast, Weapon Dance and non-spell non item cards
Replace Arkalon with Alishk
Buy 3 Magic Study, 2 more than the sword (Have 1), and 2-3 Magic Attack
Also get 1-2 Master Mage Robe, 2 Magic Servant or Double Clay (already have illusory reflection)
Save for Breaker but keep Freeze for now
Save for the Last Word, Last Action, Gust, and Mastery

Re : Beginner's Noz Deck Advice

you might just want to pick up a dragon's wit now because that's what you'll need for alishk's final upgrade (dragon)

pilkim requires either the apostle of destiny or the watchmaker of destiny if memory serves me correctly so might as well start saving for one of them too.

btw both apostle and watchmaker are pretty much a must to have in your collection regardless of if you use them
