A few days back i fought a pirate deck that basically constantly hurt all my characters at once e.g i was in combat and they attacked me + killed my other 2 without multiple nahwal or weapon kata... I cant remember fully if they used many powder tokens (i dont think they did) and they were in terms of character i think Souchi, Azalys, and possibly Gemineye. The only other noticeable detail is they had 3 infernal cricket and used Reboot the machine. I was perfected by turn 4, can anyone try and shed some light on how they achieved what they did/what sort of cards they were likely using (i cant remember)?

[card]Reboot the machine[/card] reactivates weapons and armor carried by the user. I guess a character carrying Narwhal played this, meaning Narwhal's snipe ability was activated a 2nd time making double sniping possible with only one narwhal.

but nahwal attacks after actions and stuff has already been played, so if it activated when reboot the machine was played, would it still activate again at the end of the turn when its technically already active? (considering usualy i dont imagine a weapon can activate twice in a turn)

No, narwhal acts when played, and after that it acts at the start of the fight, BEFORE cards are played.

So if I have a Narwhal with Ica-Rusty, I can play 2 other Narwhal, and I'll snipe you 3 times.
MUAHAHAHAHAHA.

There should be a new character able to dual wield two-handed powder weapons

Narwhal's snipe activates the moment it is played or at the beginning the fight. So let's say your opponent played reboot the machine, at the start of the fight (before your cards are played) Narwhal activates (snipe!), one of the cards he plays is reboot the machine Narwhal activates again (snipe!). And that is a total of two snipes .

Ah thanks (i was confused when nahwal activated) and by that if u played Conquer or Perish after reboot the machine (if you have 4 powder tokens to chain) then that's (if its you're turn) an attack and 2 snipes if that works (comments welcome). Now im only confused on how my other characters took frequent but smaller amounts of damage (lower than the power of a snipe) ?

EDIT: they took the damage while tapped and sorry I just realized i was spelling narwhal wrong!
