Training Room

Really getting sick of seeing decks made of 2 OP characters (and to a lesser extent, cheap strategies like Tempus or Discard) in Training Room.

I'm talking about decks with Cigue/Mashtok Lv4 or Grief+Pain Lv3.

A player who brings a deck with level 1 characters is completely screwed, and there is absolutely no challenge or fun factor in playing against those OP (training room-wise) characters.

It really makes me feel like "taking too long to decide", discarding my hand every turn or outright leave.

I'm sure alot of players keep OP characters just below max level for when you need to level a new character, but that it is ridiculous to force players to either do that or fail.

Sollution:
Ban from Training Rooms any characters that are already ready to level to max (full experience).

The matchmaking in Leveling and Training Rooms is simply broken.

I'd understand if there was nothing Feerik can do about it, but there are so many viable ways to deal with this, that it pisses me off...

I'm sure those of you who don't care about this, care enough to post.

Re : Training Room

be glad, if the duel is fast finished...
12exp for 3turns (~1-2min) are better than 18exp for 7+ turns ( 15+ min)

training room is about getting exp, nothing else...
if you like weak opponents, restart n stay among level 12

tell you what...

Re : Training Room

If I see Cigue, Mashtok or Abomination I leave.

About the Nehantists the problem is that you can't level uo a character with mercenaries. So if you have just one to up keeping some almost fully evolved characters is understandable.

Fact is at the moment I level uo most of my characters in Adventure mode doing the first mission of Zahal's campaign. I play 2 characters to be evolved with Deirf Geis fully evolved and I still manage to make a perfect each time.

Really, who cares? It's the freakin' TRAINING ROOM. Be glad we have one. Any of you remember back in the day when you could only do FIVE matches a DAY in there?

Close this topic with the quickness, please.

Re : Training Room

sriously, when I'm in training room, I play with abo lvl5 and shadow lvl4...
why? cause I don't care about the gale in there.
all that matter is winning the fastest possible to up my char the fastest .

sriously, this topic was useless...

if you wanna make some real fight, you go in normal room. training is there only to level up your char. no one (except you and a few others) care about what you're complaining about.

Re : Training Room

Then make Training Rooms give the same amount of experience whether you win or lose.

The fact you get a bonus for winning automatically implies there should be a challenge to overcome.

If you don't care, don't post.

Re : Training Room

it's not that I don't care, it's that I don't see where it would be useful to change the training room. you get more experience by winning than by loosing, which is fairly logical ...

I don't even see why you're arguing. I can win in normal room with my ice elve deck when all my char are level2...
If you have a well constructed deck in training room, you'll win more fight. and it's normal.
btw, I prefer loosing in three turns that winning in 8....
you're really arguing over 5xp points, especially when there is now so many drop of xp cards in PVE...?

sriously stop complaining about everything, try to enjoy the game as he is now....!

It's only fairly logical if you can compete for a win.

Except Training Room is to evolve characters.

I think a simple change would be fair and easy to implement:

Ban from Training Rooms any characters that are already ready to level to max (full experience).

But what if the other characters in your group aren't ready to level? What if some are maxed at level 3 and others at 4? We just say, what? Screw them?

Re : Training Room

Seriously, you are forced to level the Lv3 of Kounok, Aez the Wandering Warrior and Hares the Brute in the Leveling Rooms.
What's so surprising about my idea?

Let's take Alyce, Kuraying and Abyssien, for example.
Kuraying has 4 levels.
Once they all reach Lv3, you can either:
a) level him in the Leveling Rooms -> your deck will be at 95% effectiveness, but you'll gain crystals and experience, and advance your various Trophies (win, perfects, etc).
b) level him in the Training Rooms him with 2 characters who actually need experience.

I don't see the point in trying to win in the Training Room.  What do you get for winning?  One or two more experience.  Woopdy-doo.

It's called principle.
Feerik: You got a room to level characters faster.
Player: Sure, let's just give up 3rd turn.
Feerik: You have a reward for winning.
Player: Well then I'll just keep some characters just below max level and win through sheer stat superiority.

It's stupid.

You're acting as if this is a plague of some sort. I've levels, god, dozens UPON dozens of characters in there ad have ran into MAYBE a couple of the decks you're talking about. Your point WOULD be valid if it were not for one thing; IT'S THE TRAINING ROOM. If you're facing a deck you think is dumb, discard your hand and it'll be over, what? Turn 4? Then move on.

Done and done. There is no more argument here. No matter what's said, it's still the Training Room. It used for that purpose and that purpose only.

Re : Training Room

Why are you in the training room ?
No XP, no Crystals.
You can be exterminated also in normal room without loss of XP and crystals.
You level your character slower ? Big deal, you learn to play your deck during this time.

Personally, I never put my feet in this room, event I play normal room with 3 level 1 characters.

By the way, I don't care at all of this winning percentage I have.

Re : Training Room

I prefer to level up my characters in the PvE room. Reasons for that:

-some players in the training room take centuries to decide vs rapid play in PvE
-Get crystals vs no crystals in training room
-there are also players that quit in training room (lost of time)

I never go in training room mostly beacuse of slug players.

When an old player has decided to make a new deck (new characters to level up), they expect to have more wins than losses and the training room destroys this 'dream'.

Best solution: play in PvE to level up characters.

@skadoosh: why do you always have to comment on topics that are for no interest for you, just pass by.
