Hiya guys. ive played pirate marauders for ages, and i think that i would really like this character to be introduced ( or rather reintroduced). the flavour may not be correct story-wise, but that can easily be corrected by the staff.
Lil'Laddie, Hero of Bramamir Lv 5
Marauder+Warrior
Spirit : 1
Attack: 7/11
Def : 2
Health : 14
If Azalys, the Five Times Widow is one of your characters and alive, the latter and Lil' Laddie, Hero of Bramamir get Attack +1 and Spirit +1
The physical and direct damage dealt by your other Pirate Marauders is increased by one.
Turn 1,2,and 4: Lil Laddie's min attack is equal to his max attack
Flavour: Cometh the hour, cometh the man
Lil' Laddie here is the lv 5 evolution for the rarely used Lil'Laddie. I kinda based the design on Saphyra the Zil ( no surprises there) and also the kotoba sisters.
I hope that the introduction of this dude will spawn two variants of pirate marauders, namely:
Defensive: Gemineye, Lil Laddie and Azalys
Offensive: Souchi, Lil Laddie and Azalys
Plus, the extra direct damage is superb with Infernal Crickets, as well as paving the way for new gameplay using cards like rain of arrows.
Your thoughts are welcome.

He has -0/-1 Attack compared to Captain Al'Killicrew, the other stats are the same.
My thoughts:
- I think he has too much defense. With Gemineye he would have 4 Defense.
- He has pretty good stats, so I think the kotoba sisters bonus should go.
- The physical + direct bonus is a nice idea, but I think he should also benefit from it.
Here's how I'd make him:
Lil'Laddie, Hero of Bramamir
Pirates
Human
Marauder - Warrior
Spirit 1
Attack 6/11
Def 2
Health 14
Marauder - Warrior
The Physical and Direct damage dealt by your Pirate Marauders is increased by 1.
Turns 1, 3 and 5: "Lil'Laddie, Hero of Bramamir"s Min Attack equals his Max Attack.
Flavour: The blood on the floor ain't mine anymore!

i agree with your point on the def part.4 starting def on a marauder seems a bit excessive However it might not seem that powerful, considering some deck might want to use souchi, azalys and lil laddie.
On the sisters part however, i wanted it to balance lil laddie from not having the bonus from the increased dmg, as well having a bit of a connection with azalys see ( [card]staying the course[/card])
The order bonus min= max seems nice but id prefer him to have a slight boost on min attack compared to his lv 4, so ill go with 7/11. thanks for your input nurvus

Yeah but with My idea regarding Min = Max, he'd be the ultimate Narwhal user

As for Lil'Laddies' connection with Azalys, he should get increased range in his attacks, like +10 cm, when near her.
Now joking aside, making the Lv5 weaker than the lv4 in any way makes no sense to me
If you want to make him 6/11, and have
If "Azalys, Five Times Widow" is in play and alive, "Lil'Laddie, the Hero of Bramamir" changes his name to Big'Laddie, the Hero of Azalys" and has Min Attack +1.
But 7/9? That's an unfair downgrade!

Sounds okay, but I still think he is a little overpowered like this.
Having 6/11 base attack, but getting (but not giving) Spirit +1 and Min Attack +1 while Azalys is alive, would be more fair.
Result would be 2 spirit and 7/11 Attack.
The 2 abilities combined make him way too good.
No one would ever even dream of not using Azalys + Lil'Laddie in a Pirate Marauder deck.
Jon would be the attack alternative.
Gemineye would be the defense alternative.
Hook would suddenly be forgotten...
Briscar remains useless
