what if:
every time we level we were allowed to pick 1 card from the marketplace and have it added to our collection (non traceable/salable).
put limitations on it of course but this way we actually get rewarded for playing and would help people to build decks.
the way to make it is when you gain a lvl you get a trophy and you spend the trophy to get the card (this could also open a new way to use trophy's)
all players at existing levels can just be awarded there lvl trophy and still take advantage of this. so no one should feel like they missed out for starting early

If at first, the idea is not absurd, then there is no hope for it.

So everyone picks the Legendary cards they want, and take them off of the market? Methinks this would resonate badly in the game economy.
Taking out the most expensive cards would mean the price of everything would jack up.

you missed part of what i said.
i also never said it was bought or taken from the market just you get a copy of a card from the market place. the original card still remains in the marketplace still up for sale. so if say you need 3 firts blades for your deck you can get 1 but still have to buy 2 more

No, I didn't miss it. Saying 'Put limitations on it' is rather vague. What kind of limitations? Am I supposed to assume that you means legendary cards when you said limitations? Specifics is key to getting a point across.
You said take it from the marketplace. I have to assume you mean take it from that place we buy cards from, since, you know, that's what the marketplace is. What you're talking about is picking a card from a list, albeit a big list.
You also could have said 'Chose a card that is available in the marketplace,' which would exclude trophy cards and epic cards.
I'm not trying to bash your idea, it's a good one. You just need to convey it in the way you initially intended, which I feel you did not.

my view of it is its a suggestion box and i put in my idea....
but coments like "lol no" or what ever are not constructive and they are probably the reason people dont post ideas.
its frustrating to try and start a topic/idea and its only meet with resistant and not constructiveness...
that aside:
the base of my idea was some way to reward players for playing and make the levels actually mean something not just an obscure # next to our names
my thought on limitations were maybe only uncommon, only 1 of each card and not from the current act. so new cards still hold there value.

so you thinking in terms of alteil then? if you level up your given a choice of cards which increases in rarity as you reach higher levels isnt that right eekarri?

I only found this today.
So a little change in the idea.
Instead of a card from the market, why not a basic booster? 4 cards don't seem to much for the gap between levels. And if you think that the first level are to close each other, give them cards that increasing in rarity until level 15 or so, and then give the booster.

this would also help controll inflaction
i don't relly like the initial idea (any at choice) since that would make decks wayy too standart, but i like this one of the booster, other that could be nice would be each level would give you points=level (so 1 at lvl 1, 2 at lvl 2, and so on) and you would have option to get cards that way:
the point price of cards would be based off market price:
>common cards:
100-400: 1point
410-800: 2 points
810-1200: 3 points
1210-1600: 4 points
1610+: 5 points
>uncommon cards:
250-1k: 5points
1k-2k:e 7points
2-3k: 9 points
3-4k: 11points
4-5k : 13 points
5k+: 15 points
>rare cards:
1-2,5k: 15 points
2,5-5k: 18 points
5-7,5k: 21 points
7,5-10k: 24points
10-12,5k: 27points
12,5k+ 30 points
>Legendaries: 50points (no matter price or kind of card)
>if character: +1point on common, +2 incommon, +3 rare
>if unique (non character): +5points over base price
this way someone who'd want a legendary would need (from lvl 1) to get at least lvl 10 for a single card, while if wanted less rare cards could get a deck faster but maby not as strong, and yea those cards would have to be untradable

this is a really good idea...
i posted it on the french forum (where the staff is the most activ...)

about the point thing, I think you made bad calculation...
for exemple, legendaries shouldn't even be authorized to have by this way. legendary cards are legendary cards...(besides, 50 points is nothing that's what you get on level 10.you shouldn't be able to have a free legendary before level 20...)
according to you calculation, you could have by your level 20 3 assassinations, 3 extasy and even more...
the staff won't just offer a free deck to all level 20...

Keep in mind that players just starting the game can reach lvl.5 in about 20 minutes of game play. through the tutorial teaching you the game gets you to lvl.3 i think.
but i do like the idea

-one "level booster" is rewarded to player everytime they hit level 5,10,15,20
*Level booster : 30-40 cards included in the booster , not include cards with the price of 15k or more , the player gets random 8 cards from the booster , the cards gotten that way are untradable . Level booster is not sold in the shop .
-everytime a player level up , he/she is able to obtain a random card ( just like every 5th daily mission ) ( cards rewarded are untradable )
OR :
level 5-10 : 2k crystal rewarded upon leveling up
level 10-15 : 4k crystal rewarded upon leveling up
level 15-20 : 8k crystal .
Just makes players feel like they are rewarded for playing . without the level-reward , leveling up is kinda negative because you have to face stronger opponent
Also , please allow level 10+ players to trade privately .

Eekarri, you explained your idea pretty well, and even though you didn't go into specifics, you were very clear in that there would be limitations.
So indulge those who come vent their frustrations to the forum by picking on you with baseless arguments - you won't get constructiveness out of them no matter how you try
Here's how I think the idea might work:
- Cards obtained this way would be non-saleable
- Everytime you level you are given a Quest that involves doing stuff in the Adventure Mode.
- This Quest might have a time limit (1 week, for example)
- Completing said Quest's objectives gets you a Common/Uncommon/Rare Market Token
- These tokens allow you to buy (without paying) any Card in the market of the exact Rarity, with a price limit:
Common - 1000 Cx
Uncommon - 2000 Cx
Rare - 5000 Cx
- How would the rarity of the token be determined?
Option A - It would obey a level-based pattern:
Example (6 Levels Rotation)
1 - Lv2 - Common
2 - Lv3 - Uncommon
3 - Lv4 - Common
4 - Lv5 - Uncommon
5 - Lv6 - Common
6 - Lv7 - Rare
- Restart
1 - Lv8 - Common
2 - Lv9 - Uncommon
Option B - Quest would have a "time-attack" component:
If you completed it within 1 day = Rare
If you completed it within 3 days = Uncommon
If you completed it within 7 days = Common
...
Why this works:
- Leveling is slow, so it will not hurt to give players something every level.
- It gives more value to Level/Elo Rooms.
