Yes, they are very expensive to build. But in my last battle against a corruption deck, I took 80+ damage in one turn. Maybe a little overpowered? The game is basically over when they use "Desolation of the Heart." Because of this, I propose some counter-corruption cards:
Afterthought
Type: Action
Class: Any
Guild: Any
Race: Any
Rarity: Uncommon
3 cards attached to your character are discarded. The opposing character cannot heal this turn.
Then again, maybe I'll need it.
Catch-21...
Type: Spell
Class: Mage
Guild: Any
Race: Any
Rarity: Uncommon
A permanent spell attached to your character is removed from the game. If this card is chained into "...Catch-22," that card becomes permanent.
Chain: "...Catch-22..."
...Catch-22...
Type: Action
Class: Any
Guild: Any
Race: Any
Rarity: Common
At the start of the fight, if there are more than three of your opponent's cards attached to this character, you may remove cards from play until there are three.
Spirit +1.
Chain: "...Catch 23!"
...Catch-23!
Type: Action
Class: Any
Guild: Any
Race: Any
Rarity: Uncommon
Deals X direct damage to the opposing character, where X equals the number of cards removed from play this turn, if fewer than three were removed, +Y where Y equals the number of Nehant cards removed.
Alpin the Cleanser
Guild: Mercenary
Class: Priest
Race: Human
Rarity: Uncommon
Spirit: 2
Defense: 1
Atk: 4/6
levels: 3
Health: 13
At the end of each turn, if one of you characters suffered magic damage and his health points are less than -5, his health points = 2.
Spirit +1 against mages.
Turns 3, 5, and 8: Defense = 0 and an opponent's permanent spell attached to one of your characters is discarded.
Yeah, Alpin is a bit over-the-top strong.
I'd love to have a debate over whether corruption decks are overpowered or not. Please feel free to comment, supporting your side of the argument. You can also post your own cards that would counter corruption decks or make them stronger. Thanks for reading!

The metagame is constantly changing.
More permanent removal cards are flooding into the game.
In short, the problem is mostly that some decks cannot afford to include the counters needed, and others can include alot of counters.
Some decks revolve around 12 cards and the rest are counters.
Other decks need around 18 cards to work.

To Nurvus:
So what kind of deck do you usually run and how do you counter corruptions? I guess tracker decks are pretty good because they are so fast, but slow decks (like mine) are awful.

They are not overpowered . . . They are good at what they do, there are lots of decks that can beat them, if not everyone would be using them. I play discard mostly. By turn 3 or 4 corruption decks are out of cards and I win. Trackers can also beat them fairly easily as well as demon hunters, zil power deck, witchblade, and im sure there are others.
Honestly, there is no deck out there that is unbeatable. Unfortunately it's a rock-paper-scissors kinda thing. Pirate beats zil beats nehant beats kotoba beats noz beats sap beats nomad beats mercinaries beats pirates . . .

Okay... it's not too over-powered, my deck just doesn't work well against it. I'm really just trying to think of some good counters to corruptions without changing my deck too much. I'm sure there are some other slow decks that take massive damage from corruptions. I just want to know how they counter corruptions, then come up with some new counter-cards for fun.
Parasite, Begone!
Type: Action
Class: Warrior, Berserker
Guild: Any
Race: Any
Rarity: Rare
If this character suffers damage from a card attached to him, all cards attached to this character are discarded.
Permanent.
Remember, this is a DEBATE. I'd like to see a few people on my side speak out. I don't run an Avalonian deck, but I'd like to hear their opinion on corruptions.

I run a standard corruption deck which I usually use for the adventure.
Corruption decks aren't great. A good player adds some "toolbox" cards in their deck (cards that put the situation to your hand).
There are dozens of single cards that destroy a corruption deck, all it takes for you is to learn what specific cards you use in a specific situation to turn the tide of a battle. It is called experience.
The best way to learn the weakness of a deck is to play the deck you think is overpowered.

I love new Ardrakar! Finally a deck I can use and not have to worry about losing to shadow mages too.
