The Pack
Damage you deal is increased by 1.
Magic and Direct damage taken is reduced by 1.
If a Lunation is in play, this character becomes a Beast until the end of the game and this card returns to your Deck.
Beast: Chain.
Purposes of the card:
- reducing the impact non-physical damage dealers have on The Pack.
- improving The Howls to a playable state
- improving overall damage
- indirectly nullifies Demon May Rise
Note #1 - Don't say "But The Pack already has incredible damage", because there are only 20 card spots on the deck. If you included Wild Moon, something else would have to come off. To use Wild Moon & The Howls in the same deck, even more stuff would have to come off.
Note #2 - If a Lunation is in play your character loses the other races they have and become only Beast (removes Shadow Guemelite from Wild, Elfine from BloodSword, Hom'Chai from Faceless, Human from Dark or Demon if you have Demon May Rise)
Note #3 - Only the race change is until the end of the game. The rest only lasts for the current Turn.
Note #4 - Only chains if your character is already a Beast before you use this card.

2 health every time you suffer damage?
Yea that doesnt sound like much if you only consider big single hit decks
but it completely destroys large amount of small hit decks

The main deal is screwing caster decks, but you're right.
Edited Original Card:
- Healing replaced with reduced magic and direct damage suffered.
- Race change only applies to the user (so only overrides Demon May Rise on yourself)
- Added a return to the deck effect.
By the way your idea is a bit stronger than mine...
Only the race change is until the end of the game, and even that can be overriden.
The rest is only during the turn you play it.

It's really a good idea to make "The Howls" a more usable card. I'm kind of surprised it wasn't fixed last release when they put out some more Pack cards. Nice job!
