Re : Ice elves

[card]Six Feet Under[/card] is a must and Amythyst Blizzards. Frost Bite is good but you want them to hit big.

Re : Ice elves

Well, it depends. Of you want to focus more on physical damage: Yulven, Kokrem, and Ursyd can hit big. But if you want magic and direct damage, Ayir is good and even Lady Yilith if you can obtain her for staying power with heals.

Been playing Ice Elves since Kokrem was revealed on the Advent Wall. Quite fun once you get a deck that works for you.

Re : Ice elves

in my experience fighting Ice Elves, the ones that mix magic/direct damage with a strong melee are always stronger

Also they tend to 1 shot characters more often

A standard "tough" character will have about 15 hp, 3-4 armor and 1-2 spirit

That means for a pure melee to attempt to 1shot he will need 18-19 attack, pretty difficult to do

but for a Mage Melee, Amethyst will do about 4-6 damage, meaning you only need 12-15 attack, which is easily reached

Re : Ice elves

[card]Fog Hydra[/card]
[card]Ursyd[/card]
[card]Ayir[/card]

3x [card]It is Time[/card]
3x [card]Agmundar's Rage[/card]
3x [card]Frostbite[/card]
3x [card]Amethyst Blizzard[/card]
3x [card]Six Feet Under[/card] (or Frozen Spirit)

Pick the rest. Counter cards, whatever.
---

This almost guarantees you will start first.
1st Turn:
Ursyd -> places Agmundar's Rage on Ayir.
Play Frostbite + Amethyst Blizzard or Frozen Spirit + Amethyst Blizzard or Agmundar's Rage + Frozen Spirit... whatever.

2nd Turn:
Opponent is forced to choose Ayir
Frostbite -> Amethyst Blizzard -> Frostbite or Frozen Spirit ->Amethyst Blizzard

3rd Turn:
Ayir again - Mega damage again.

4th Turn:
Ayir? It is Time -> whatever.
Ursyd? The opponent is asking to die.
Hydra? A dead opponent coming up = Six Feet Under -> It is time (or reverse xD).

Re : Ice elves

This is the deck I'm playing right now, I'd say it's pretty close to optimized. But if anyone has any suggestion... ^^

I'll try my best to use the english names.

[card]Ursyd[/card]/[card]Kokrëm[/card]/[card]Yulven[/card]

2x [card]Icy aura[/card] IMO 3 is too much, it's a slow card. having two lets you switch between an defensive play (2 on the same character), more balanced (2 on different characters) or just plain offensive (means you don't play it) without sacrificing too much.

3x [card]Frozen spirit[/card] One of the best, if not the best chain in the deck. The spirit reduction is awesome against any mage, priest, avalonian deck or anything that uses spirit really... Best chained with [card]Amethyst Blizzards[/card].

3x [card]Amethyst Blizzards[/card] That's the main blast. Deals from 5 to 7 magic damage, if you one shot something it's probably after using this card.

3x [card]Agmundar's rage[/card] Main stat booster. It lasts 3 turns, so try not to use it turn 1 if you don't have the initiative. If you do have it, don't worry about that, the other guy probably won't choose a character that has it on turn 4.

2x [card]Obesity[/card] Works great with the low defense. It also chains into any other card of the deck and negates an opponent's card (main reason why you'd play it really xD)

2x [card]Six feet under[/card] A +3 attack that chains, don't play it with yulven if you can avoid it. Only gives +2 to him.

2x [card]Frostbite[/card] 2 direct damage is good, but not enough to have 3 in the deck. Especially without Ayir. If you can get 2 in play before playing the Blizzards that's always a good thing to do.

1x [card]The best defense[/card] Good as a finisher on the guy that has the Auras. It can reach pretty high numbers. You can also chain it with obesity for an additional attack point.

1x [card]Sentence[/card] It counters a ton of decks. Just a good toolbox card to have if you're playing aggro.

1x [card]Dissidence[/card] It's also a card that will win you games. Useful against most of the decks since you're playing with mercenaries. Please try not to play it with Yulven against Saps (I did ^^ )

So that's about it. The things you can do when you're bored...
