First deck I've ever submitted. I want to be competitive in Elo so bad, but I never seem to be able to get anywhere with my Elo score!! Been Playing in Elo for about 2 months now and I'm starting to get frustrated... I've always been good at card games (Mtg, Lo5r, etc...) and I guess I'm just missing the point or something with Eredan

Please.....you can afford cards like Ish? and Doya? Those cards alone make any Mage deck pretty dumb...no need to ask for help there. If you can afford cards like those? Through any means. All you need is the really stupid mage spells like Dragon breath? The one that takes the COMBINED Spirit and uses it to blast the opponent to smithereens? Manipulations, and your set.

haha I haven't invested that much... I got lucky on my booster pulls I guess... I have most Noz cards though... So yes I have 3 [card]Dragon's Breath[/card].

The cards aren't my problem though... That's the thing, I have the cards, and I have some skill and experience, but I have never once broken 1600 Elo rating...

Useful cards:
[card]The Council's Banner[/card]
[card]Suspicion of Treason[/card]

Alternative cards:
[card]Marlok the Repentant[/card]
[card]Crystal Storm[/card]
[card]Tea Ceremony[/card]
[card]Stirring Up the Hatred[/card]

Plenty of combos, but you can set up a 2x Stirring Up Hatred into 2x Tea Ceremony.
You can go Treason -> Banner -> Crystal Storm against some decks, Luminosity -> Banner -> Crystal Storm against others, then follow with Stirring Up Hatred & Tea Ceremony.

The list goes on.

I'm crazy to try a version with Ish, Doyen and Galmara noz version, base on overwhelming victory, manipulations and ice wall's on the first 3 turns and from there on start killing with Dragons Breath.. The idea is sound, just never manage to try it... Since all ***bip*** missing is the Lord Galmarra Noz version you could try it and tell me if it works :-)

There so many combos for courtesans...

U can try with Avatar and use card like Harshness on avatar or u could try with Mylad and Dandy too with Arachnophobia and Sitar Hero...

There are so many possibilites with courtesans

[card]Dragon's Breath[/card] is based on your living Noz Mages' spirit. Gal Noz version wouldn't be able to contribute his spirit score but he would be able to play it!
I have used him to play ROD however and its pretty fun!
