Simple, Deck Manipulation Concept

Some cards you don't want to draw early.
Some cards you only want to draw in a specific manner.

This is a card that helps that happen, somewhat.
Note #1: The hand -> deck effect is bad if your hand is good, and good if your hand is bad.
Note #2: Don't be too picky about the numbers. Maybe reducing damage by 1 would be more fair, but focus on the overall idea.

The point is that the card (or cards) would have simple useful effects, together with a small deck manipulation component, such as putting cards from your hand back in the deck, or draw an additional card, or draw 1 card less, and so on.

This might even help -very subtly- soft counter discard decks.

I like the idea behind it, and I don't think how you have it is imbalanced in any large way.

Re : Simple, Deck Manipulation Concept

Any more feedback on this?

This card has a few uses:
- Simply reducing damage to you while sending a card to the deck as a penalty.
- This penalty can be viewed as a bonus if there's a card in your hand you don't need or want to use later, specially cards you want to be in your deck like [card]Shadow Master[/card] (due to [card]Illumination[/card])
- Saving a special card in your hand (that you don't want to play right now) from Discard effects

I like this card.
Hand manipulation is good strategie to help his luck.

I woud change the card litte bit like..

Choose x cards (up to two) in your Hand and place it in your Deck.
Damage taken by your charakter this Turn is reduce by x.
Chain.

So this card has drawback if you have no more cards in your hand.
And you are forced to think about how many cards you place back.

Re : Simple, Deck Manipulation Concept

seems to strong. When I read this card i see the following abilities.

Defense +2
Spirit +2   (both because your damage is reduced by 2 whatever the source is)
chain
Additional deck manipulation ability

I havent seen all the cards for this game yet. Do the other chain level cards give you a +4 to stats plus additional abilities?

I know good omens gives you a 2 heal. But then thats a heal so it cant really be used first turn. Not to mention it doesnt have additional abilities tacked on.

Re : Simple, Deck Manipulation Concept

Sereaphim's idea is perfect.

You choose up to X cards (up to 2) from your hand.
Damage dealt to you this Turn is reduced by X, those cards are then placed in your deck.
Chain.

So if you choose 1 card to go back to the deck you take -1 damage.
If you choose 2 cards, you take -2 damage.

Sometimes you don't want to put cards back in the deck, even less likely 2 of them.
