Nice concept, but damage caps aren't really something that can be implemented in this game.
Anything that would kill Alix wouldn't, and being a priest means she can spew theurgy, as well as having a healing order.
Change her effect to:
"Heirophant Alix"s Health cannot be modified by more than 4 by any card effect.
Then it wouldn't be so OP, and has a fair chance of getting killed.
Priests aren't easy to kill, trust me, but we don't need a merc version of Immortals running around.

Notice she has 0 defense and 12 hp at max level.
I think she's frail enough to make the ability fair.
But, if I'm wrong, then yeah, it might make sense capping both the damage and the healing she receives so that it's not OP.
Remember, her weakness is multi-hits (Quick Draw), out-of-combat damage (Narwhal), and AoEs.

That being said Nurvus, the only thing that would be able to one shot her is quick Draw saps, considering she's a priest, healing comes rather nonchalantly.

Any 1 attack 1 kill=4
Quick Draw on mel/ydiane=4+4+4
And it would depend on if her effect solely works in battle, like Yilith. The only thing that can OTK are Sap decks, and the only other methods of killing her before her second go revolve around sacrificing damage/attacks on another character. Like Telendar, the longer it's around, the scarier the things that come out of it are.
Not to mention that there are cards that can reduce damage further. A turn 1 hit the rescue will make her lose 1 hp for each time she's hit.

AoEs kill her too (Weapon Kata, Sen'Ryaku's sister's Turn Order, etc).
Her health is frail, she has 0 defense, poor attack and normal spirit.

And one Divine light and she heals 4.. Get a staff on her she is upt o 3 spirit, 7 points divine light + 2 armor.. And how does her effect would work if I put a Good Jerus on her? She would take 3 dmg?
The idea of a charactrer with good surbibability that can sacrifine for others is nice, but the concept of taking max dmg and untapping dead characters does not have a place in current eredan.

No, she would take 4 damage max still. Wich means effects that reduce damage don't help her.
In the end, the max damage she can take is always 4.
I don't like the Theurgy.

Depends on how her ability triggers. If it acts as a constant, meaning it's applied before all other affects, then it'd be a max of 4, then another card may reduce that threshold, because automatically, all damage she would take >4 would be 4, then the other cards are taken into account as -1 damage, so, it'd still knock off how much she'd take.
The thuergy, I have to concur, is ridiculous. So, if something gets sunk under say 30 points from something like Port or Vital Siphon, You gain 35 points toward your score from healing. And, considering they'd have to revive at the same time she registers as dead, there would be the problem of whether or not Desolation of the Heart, or Port, can activate to latch onto another character.

Well sure there are plenty ways things can fail.
I'm discussing how I think it can work. With the right order and priority, the ability can be made so that it triggers after all other effects.

Yea, I still rally for a cap on how much she can heal herself as well.
People have a hard enough time killing my Yilith, who only caps their stats, but not their damage, so, a damage cap is a broken concept to me.

Lady Yilith has high base stats, decent attack, decent defense, and can use Paladin's Hammer.
This one can use the hammer but her attack sucks.

Yilith can get trumped by anything with high base stats, or does 2 different types of damage. (warrior kiezan, Abomination being the most common)
This card just says "Unless you hit me 3 times in 1 turn, or make it a point to kill me, I can live forever"
Mercy buildup would be disgusting with her.
