Desert Nomads - Immortal

here is a preliminary list of a Immortal deck. I made sure to include as much as possible of the new cards to show what this caste is capable.
I would like to hear your opinions and suggestions.

Characters:

3Z8BHR1H.png

lXBNJmwG.png

OUCICg0s.png

Actions

[card]Solaris[/card] x3
[card]Obesity[/card] x3
[card]Support of the Gods[/card] x3 - Attack, heal and can recycle.
[card]Longevity[/card] x2 - With 3 of these, one on each character, you'll never run out of cards. As soon as you hit 4 cards in your deck you get back 2 from your graveyard, use 2 in the round and then you'r back to 4, ready to get 2 more cards next round. Makes ANS unnecessary.
[card]Survive Death[/card] x1 - Gives a good attack bônus and protection against pesky permanents.

Itens

[card]Desert Scimitar[/card] x3 -
[card]Life Devourer[/card] x2 - You can use Living dagger as well.
[card]Istaryam Blade[/card] x3 - Activates Immediately, attack bônus increase as the turns passes, heal and mini The Prestige.

You can take out 1 Support of the Gods to put [card]The Immortals[/card] and then you have a good DMG/Heal AdE.

Done. A complete full caste deck with lots of potential. I hope you like it.

It seems a nice deck, people were alredy playing it with the esphinx (not sure how u write the half lion/half man guys name) and was doing fine, with this new hero with 2 natural armor and some cool new cards it gona do really well, and has the capacity to really screw recicle decks.

Solar pauldron seems better than longevity in this setup, you are running mostly nomad cards, maybe 1 and 1?

Re : Desert Nomads - Immortal

Planning on this style deck.

I'll be forgoing one Support of the gods and the Survive death though, and instead trying [card]The Immortals[/card] and [card]The dead Gods[/card]. Continuous healing throughout the deck gives you an advantage to pick away at HP on the other side with the dead gods.

Also, Using [card]Sun Glare[/card]instead of Devouring Dagger. +3 off the start, +2 immediately later on if someone is dead, plays into Urakia's heal bonus, and is chainable, unlike the dagger. which is a plus.

If there were no luck in TCG, how boring would that be?

One card that could fit nicely would be the Alchemical Armor. I know its a one strategy card, but would be nice chain on solaris and pretty powerfull in any late game since you would be recycling a lot of cards. And getting the solaris again and again..

And maybe even the golem, so you could always be using Solaris + Golem..

Just a quick comment on The Immortal card. Since you are healing quite a lot and typically have higher starting health than non-Nomads decks, this card will actually heal the opponents more than it damage them. A nice theme card that didn't really fit in the Immortal deck ironically.

Re : Desert Nomads - Immortal

It's mostly a early Turn card only in this style of deck, the way I see it.

Kinda like a storm card.

But it may prove useless, given the nomads high starting HP, so I may drop it.

Edit: Come to think of it, storm would be TONS more useful, given Uriaka's healing ability. Wonder if it'd count towards kebeks dmg-> Heal count as well....

Just priced this up,

reassuringly expensive smile

Definitely going to save up for this one!

@Rathedan - If it does, and I can't see why it wouldn't, Storm will be a must have in this one!

Re : Desert Nomads - Immortal

Storm seems more usefull couse Kebek and Urakia get benefits from it in a single shot (if you use with Kebek). The Immortals can be good if you use it only for healing and dont care about what happens to your adversary since Urakia is prone to have more HP than the otters at any point of the battle.
A good combo with The Immortals could be use it after a Stone Heart. With all your characters with the same ammount of HP you guarantee the heal with The Immortals, but Storm still can bring better results.

@Ratherdan: About Sun Glare you'r right, it gives more speed but you trade chain with double yeld (dunno if I did myself clear here). I put Life Devourer couse Istaryam cant be coupled with Sun Glare. Maybe a mix with the daggers and Sun Glare?
Attack bônus isn't a problem if you use Support of the Gods wisely and try to get the attack bônus plus recycle it (for example: Support + Dagger/Glare/Scimitar).

I'd give up both Devourers for Storm & a 3rd Longevity

Re : Desert Nomads - Immortal

Here's a cheap version:

Urakia
Kararine
Malika

Cards:
Assasination
Blessed Bandage
Chameleon Cloak
Cubit Chakra
Discretion
Fight x3
Healing Balm
Imploring the ancestors
In the nick of time
Insolation
Life devourer
Short Sword
Simple Dagger
Simple shield
Smart Ass
Sun Glare
Travel Ration

Well, its a very cheap alternative (you could get most from the free boosters). The idea is to prolong the battle and attach as many items to urakia. Do not sacrifice the other characters (unlike craftmen deck builds) as their long life is needed for Urakia's heals. As much as possible choose urakia first in battle, this will guarantee 2 heals. The next is attach life devourer and a couple of swords or dagger.

Also heal your other characters when necessary. If they are going to surely die, simply use imploring the ancestors. The idea is to prolong the fight until the opponent runs out of ANS to use.

Anyway, be as flexible as possible. If you see that the opponent uses freeze during the first couple of turns, simply diversify the item distribution to other characters.
