would u do me a favor and try to ask some of the ppl in the top 20 of the elo room which deck they use?
Before the ban, discard always was in the top3 (2 / 3), and of course in the top20...
Port is still banned because of the bugs.

I fully support unbanning all cards. No deck style should be banned. You should be able to play your favorite deck.
But all of that has to be allowed in a balanced manner.
Release anti-discard mechanics because Discard decks -are- overpowered.
I've suggested a few such mechanics.
Feeling that it's wrong for a certain deck to be banned for "so long"?
Time has -nothing- to do with it.
The only thing wrong is that no cards have been released to properly deal with Discard decks without making Discard decks useless.
The few things that make it "okay" to "unban" cards that are considered overpowered, are:
- adjusting their effects so that they aren't overpowered (something I don't think will happen)
- releasing cards that help deal with the "overpowered" cards without making your deck suck (likely to happen over time BUT also promotes power creep)
Again, Discard decks are out of line.
Are there poor Discard decks? Yes.
Are there poor Discard deck players? Yes.
This is not about how many good Discard decks you can find out there.
Not every Discard player has A New Start, The Prestige, Mental Syphon, Scheme or Watcher.
Not every Discard "victim" uses A New Start, Scheme or Watcher etc.
Even if you have A New Start:
- you have 25% chance of getting it in your starter hand
- It can be discarded from your hand.
- It can get thrown into the Discard Pile by [card]Theft[/card].

What I'd do:
- Change [card]Theft[/card] to place 1 to 2 cards into the Discard Pile (instead of 1 to 3)
- Release cards that produce effects when discarded from your hand
- Release cards that produce effects when discarded from your deck
- Release cards that produce passive effects while in your discard pile

What I'd do:

- Release cards that produce passive effects while in your discard pile
- Allow more than a maximum hand of 5
- Edit Moneyed 4-7 cards and Unique
- Edit Deliverance to also chain and/or play a random card from your deck
- Edit Treacherous to permanent 2 at random
- Create an item that prevents cards in your hand from being discarded but lowers a stat based on the class of the character it is attached to.
I still firmly believe in a Format List and am still working on one.

Mods don't know anything you guys don't.
We're not privy to game info. Just a bunch of guys and gals who make sure nothing goes out of line.
If there were no luck in TCG, how boring would that be?
