Pistol-Port deck

I'd like to share my deck and also ask for advice on improving it. This deck is moderately successful. But it always lose when used against witchblade and A-bomb decks on the ELO room. From my experience, ELO decks are mostly A-bomb and Witchblade. To be competitive at ELO rooms, I have to defeat those decks consistently. Here are my cards:

Capt. Al Kilicrew level 4 (powder version)
Klementine level 3 (port version)
Clover level 3

3x port
3x pistolblade
2x pirate code
3x multitasking
2x obesity
2x master craftsman
2x tadaa..you're a bunny
1x anathematize
1x magic shield
1x camp

basic tactics:
for high defense and courtesan decks, use multitasking+port combo
for low defense and fast decks, use multitasking+pistolblade combo (instant +6 attack good for 2 battles)

Any advice?

Read [card]Multitasking[/card] better - it chains into a Craftsman item.
[card]Pistolblade[/card] isn't a Craftsman item, so you can't use it with Multitasking's effect.

You better read the card before you make a fool of yourself and contradict exactly what's on the card. tongue

If there were no luck in TCG, how boring would that be?

Re : Pistol-Port deck

I created this deck because other craftsman decks usually use their craftsmen as cannon fodder for their foam giants.  Craftsmen are perceived as low attack characters. But when my craftsmen characters have master craftsman+2pistolblades attached, their attack usually reaches 14-16. I remember my Clover killing Emperor Gakyusha in one hit at turn 3 in the ELO room by this combo (her attack was 16/17).

Other decks are pretty generic these days (eclipse, the pack, A-bomb, witchblade, discard, sap hearts, IHAS, port, craftsmen-foam giant, courtesan, crow, tracker, Noz mage) and I am getting bored with my deck too.hehe. Gotta create something new again. tongue

Hey, you're never a fool if you're honest smile

Re : Pistol-Port deck

wow! what a nice deck, finally some originality mixed with versatility, and effectiveness smile

can't give you any advice, some decks fair better against some than others, and can't think of anything for yours to be a better match against those 2 your having problems with.. the only thing i can think to reduce damage from ice shield and spells is good jorusiens, but those are not really effective without jorus,
Would adding Jorus instead of Captain, some jorusiens, 1 Master crafstman and 1 or 2 supplying destroy the deck ? [removing 1x anathematize (IHAS has dropped a lot and thats the main reason), 1x magic shield (very situational), and pirate codes]

I added Captain Kilicrew because of the free 3 powder tokens she provides (ammo for the pistolblades). And she can equip two pistolblades in one turn. But I think she's also the weakest character, because she doesn't do much..hehe.. Replacing Captain with Jorus would be great. But you won't have the free powder tokens and will have to depend on supplying to maximize the attack of your pistolblades. It will be a different approach, but I think it will work better. I agree that the weakest cards in this deck are the pirate codes and magic shield. And they should be replaced.
But I think anathematize is a tactical tool against cards that depend on the discard pile (e.g. burn in hell, panic, a warrior's fury, hungry void, cloning). If you see 2 burn in hells in your opponent's discard pile, using anathematize will decrease the damage of the unplayed third burn in hell card.

Agreed, but that's the only cards I could think of removing without wrecking the deck, perhaps u can remove a port as well, tho that will reduce the draw %..
Anyways, if u try that with jorus, let me know how it worked
