So today's new-card update was actually pretty good and I think offers a lot of deckbuilding potential. I can see a lot of fun combos with [card]Ice Coffin[/card].

Not really sure why the poor Witchblades get so much hate in terms of Defense stat ([card]Anazra[/card] has bad defense, and see the ongoing discussion(s) on the shaft given to E&M L3), but so it goes.

To me, it's pretty clear that [card]Blade of the Witch[/card] was designed to work great with [card]Eglantyne and Moira[/card]. That means that we still have only 2 'real' Witchblades, since in full-upgrade mode you can only have two of them in your deck.

So...we thinking another update for Witchblades in the near future? Personally, I wouldn't expect them next week, maybe week after? Just recalling how they did the craftsmen in two non-consecutive releases.

Thoughts or speculation?

I speculate along-side of you. As they have released someone in the World-Tree Caste ALONE, I know there will be more to come later. Same with our newest Witchblade. This can't be the last of it... but I doubt it'll be next week.

There are more withblades to come, but as the staff said "not soon". There are a lot of castes unfinished, and their aim is to release a wide variety of decks instead of releasing all the characters of the same caste altogether.

Lets hope so, I love the new witchblade cards, of course their defense stats are bad but Zahal lv 4 helps. Maybe the next witchblade will give defence +1 to all witchblades. Would love to make a witchblade deck but as it stands, they are in the okayish zone right now.

For the time being i'd say Bomzar lvl3 would be a decent third character. Being a golem he can equip the blade of the witch. And because of his warrior/mage class it is as effective on him than on any of the dualclass witches. Plus he can cast spells. If he could cast witchblade spells like Foamy is able to use Sap Heart ones he would be a nearly perfect choice imo.
But i'm not sure about this one.

when you mention foamy, are you saying he can cast spells? well, water spells, makes sense...

Why not just use teh two sisters seperated? They are pretty decent as characters when you play them together. Toss in some Living Daggers, Blade of the Witch and some Ice Blocks and you got yourself a nice little team of nasties going for you.

......... I want my blade of the witch to have all of it activation at once is one point why I don't have them seperated. Also no to Bomzar, really anything besides Zahal is risky since the witch blade need defense.

I think the Fallen from the sky series is growing too big, your chances of getting something you need from a pack are too low already... maybe add a new series and release a lot of cards at once?

I think they plan to split the edition into two seperate sets once it grows too big.

Guild boosters is the step in corect direction IMHO and they are already doing that.

I wouldn't be so surprised if a WitchBlade deck was meant to be either pureWitchBlade (Moira + Eglantyne + Anazra) OR DragonWitchBlade (Eglantyne & Moira + Anazra + Zahal)

Meh, I hope they do bring a new WitchBlade and update Eglantyne & Moira...
Anazra is a slap in the face of Eglantyne and Moira.

On Ice Coffin, I think it's designed to let you "recalculate" the first and second [card]Blade of the Witch[/card] after there are already 3 in game.

E&M + The new witchblade + the free marauder ?
Zahal gives +1 defense to all, while the free marauder gives -1 opp atk (the same as +1 def most of the times) and -1 opp def if you fight with E&M since she(they) is both warrior and marauder ...

@Poptolev Malandrin's abilities work only on characters that he himself is fighting. I noticed this earlier today and put a suggestion in the Wrong Text thread of the bugs forum. So, as cool as he might appear at first he isn't really that great.

Back to Bomzar versus Zahal in the Witchblade mix! But personally, I prefer Helena.
