Misleading Tournament Reward Math or Mistranslation?

At least 500.000 cristals will be shared between the gamers of the first third, with a fix value of 5000 if there are more than 100 registrations in this tournament.

Let's do some math.
If there were exactly 99 registrations, the 500.000 cristals would be divided by 33 players (1/3) = 15151 cristals per player.

But if there are 102 registrations, each of the 34 players only gets 5000 cristals?
So the 500.000 cristals suddenly shrink into 170.000?

The 101th registration essentially reduces the shared reward of the top 33 out of the initial 100 registrations by 66%?
What the hell is up with that?

Or am I wrong and it will be:
a) an extra +5000 cristals per player if there are more than 100 registrations?
b) a minimum of 5000 cristals per player if there are more than 100 registrations?

Okay so I got 15000.
Maybe they mistyped and meant that beyond the 100 registration the value on the first third fixes at 15000 (not 5000).

Re : Misleading Tournament Reward Math or Mistranslation?

What they mean is that they distribute at least 1 million crystals for the tournament. Half of it is for the reward fund for places 1st to 16th and the other half is for the top 1/3 of the participants.

So if there are only 60 competitors in total, the first 20 would get 500k/20=25k each.
If there are 150 participants like it was in the current one the top 50 would get (500k+50*5k)/50=15k.

So basically this 5k fixed value per person means that each additional registration of 10k crystals contributes with 5k in the winner's reward fund (1st to 16th place) and 5k to the top 1/3 fund.
