I just fought this direct damage demon deck and the effect of ecstasy continueded after it was removed from play .____________.

Infinite ecstasy = overgasmdose.
Now, seriously, I think there was a bug back then, where Ecstasy still affected cards even when removed.
Maybe it came back.
