Hi! I wonder if you people are familiar with the Diablo II concept of Horadric Cube. It is a tool that allows to transform 3 items in a new one. My idea is to apply it on Eredan.
I'm sure we all have some useless cards from beginers deck and those we got from Adventure mode, so we can't sell them.
Why not have a tool that allows players to convert their cards into new ones? I don't know how hard it is to make this system but, say, we put 3 cards (or whatever you think is fair) up for a transformation and you get a random new one. I'm not saying to always get better cards, but a small chance to it.
Of course this mechanism would need some kind of cooldown, maybe be used just once a day... That way maybe even if we would still get trash from trash cards, there would be a (tiny) chance to give some use to the result of the transformation.
Any changes to make it better are appreciated and all opinions are welcome

I don't know wtf a horadric cube is but any system that allows us to do something with junk cards from adventure I support

There's a similar system in League of Legends for Runes
There are Tier 1, 2 and 3 Runes.
- Mixing 3x Tier 1 Runes, gives you 1x Tier 1 Rune.
- Mixing 5x Tier 1 Runes, gives you 1x Tier 2 Rune.
And so forth.
Could be similar for Eredan:
3x Common = 1x Random Common
5x Common = 1x Random Uncommon or 2x Random Common (50/50 Chance)
3x Uncommon = 1x Random Uncommon
5x Uncommon = 1x Random Rare or 2x Random Uncommon (50/50 Chance)
3x Rare = Random Rare
5x Rare = Random Legendary or 2x Random Rares (50/50 Chance)
3x Legendary = Random Legendary
5x Legendary = 2x Random Legendaries
Exploit, Collector and Mythical cards that you do not already have could be among the possible results.
Mixing different rarities would either:
a) not be allowed; or b) count as the lowest rarity used (so Common + Uncommon + Rare = 3x common = Common)

5 Uncommons = 1 Rare
6 Uncommons= 100 - 500 xp card
3 Rares = 500 - 1000 xp card
3 Rares = 1 Rare
5 Rares = 1 Random Event Card (Rewards)
50 Rares = 1 Mystic/ 1 12 Card Booster/ 1 Legend/ 100 Feez (each 25% chances)

A suggestion for you Stormholt. When there is a new release buy a bunch of boosters and the new characters you get level them up using the xp cards. You would be the first with a level 3 up in the market and likely able to sell it for a lot.

My suggestion for this is just make all cards salable. You would be able to get rid of your cards by selling via market or direct sell. Also some cards which are really scarce would be available. Adding your suggestion would also be a great option. Either sell, direct sell or merge for new card.

I don't know, I feel like this would flood the game with cards that once were worth some money bringing them all down to near nothingness. (legends excluded)
I feel like a fair compromise would be for them to utilize the already setup free sale system, you'd be able to sell more than one card per day for certain, commons get you next to no money, uncommon still get you next to none and rares are at 1200cx. It would be better than having them stockpiled and get rid of them from the playing market.
as for the trading cards for other cards idea. I doubt that would happen for two reasons, first, the programing would be difficult, you can't very well have a 2 mile long evoution screen so they would need to design something like the deck building tool and that would just be hastlesome. Secondly, This would most likely be a system that could be used for salable and unsellable cards and if that's the case you would get players buying up all the teachings and other bad cards to exchange for a chance at a god tier rare. this would raise the prices of the terrible cards and obliterate the rest from existence, which wouldn't be fair to the select few that actually want to use them in a deck.
Another experience card based option is adding an opportunity to get experience cards via the uprade system. a level 1 card with full experience could get you a 25 exp voucher, a level 2 could get you 100xp, level 3 could get you 250, and a fully leveled lvl 4 could get you 500. For abom and Aberration there would be slots for 5 and 6 even though nobody would do that anyways.

well if its a card converter, then maybe the junk cards can be merged or something like that to create those XP cards. depending on rarity the higher the XP grants.
or merge junk cards of the same rarity to get a card of the same rarity that isnt in your collection.
higher rarity cards have lesser chance of yielding a card of high rarity.
example of the chances:
4 commons of the same card = 1 random common 100%
8 commons of the same card = 1 random common 95% and 5% uncommon
4 uncommons of the same card = 1 random uncommon 10% and 90% common
8 uncommons of the same card = 1 random uncommon 20% and 80% common
... so for and so on...
just a thought though.
