well what i aim is for it to be a 2nd layer of defense for the removal of items.. exclusively... preserving only the stats but not the effect... i forgot the "from items" term though. this way golem decks are not destroyed by a mere single freeze... but u need to remove this card first then freeze...

not every deck is a mage deck... not every mage deck has a freeze... there is always one deck to beat your favorite... to close this weakness creates a situation in which you easily reach OPness...

the new deckbuild rule is how old? 2 hours? you can already see trends? awesome... you are my personal hero mr.skadooosh... and to answer your first awesome statement... yes... personally i m not running a freeze in my pirate mage deck... i ve seldom seen a freeze in OPilkim decks as they rely on killing before equiping items...

^ you guys got a very heavy point... but on my side please hear me out.. im not taking the golems to the OP side..
not every deck is a mage deck... not every mage deck has a freeze... there is always one deck to beat your favorite... to close this weakness creates a situation in which you easily reach OPness...
im not talking about only freeze.. there are lots of cards that removes permanents, spells or actions.. having a card like this will give golem deck a piece of retaliation against that sort of cards... please remember that golems needs long preparation in order to be effective, building items and only items. mages can still death combo golems at turn 1 with 2 out of lets say 6 nuke cards on their deck compared to this 1 out of 20+ cards on a deck.
yes not every deck is a mage deck thats what gives light to heavy hitter decks ultimately like for example "the pack", compared to their enormous fast build up golem decks are a lot slower...
with the new deckbuild rule freeze, sliding, breaker and other cards alike are now easily inserted as utility cards on a deck..

anyway, I don't think this card is so OP. Powerful, yes, but golems deck needs it...
anyway, I would not have given it a chain... (the card is already super good without it... )

i can see what u wanted to happen but what if the opponent removed the attached cards before you can play that card..? thats what i want to give emphasis on my card idea... the huge impact of item removal cards on a golem deck... plus... an aoe direct damage card...might overdo it and ecstasy will thank you for that...

I like the idea.
I think it could have a "At the end of the fight 'Welding' returns to the Deck/Hand." as well, since you're spending 1 of 2 cards to turn an item (most of them are permanent already) into an unremovable permanent.
