Hello,

So i wanted to buid a DH deck but i want to use [card]Kyoshiro[/card] and [card]Okooni[/card] instead of [card]Zatochi Kage[/card] and [card]Nashi[/card], so my question is whether it will be good enough or not...

not good as, but fun to play if you play a gem / fire bender deck. (i dont know your decklist in mind)

2 [card]Rain Of Death[/card] (i only have 2)
2 [card]Nô Mask[/card]
2 [card]Rosary of Serenity [/card]

This as a beginning, i'll surely make some changes, but you Zatochi's version will be better ??

The downside of the Kyoshi and Okooni deck is not being able to play [card]Pray to the Spirits[/card]. It's a clutch card. You could put it in the deck but then rosaries and no masks get removed and that's just not right.

Also, what if you use Nashi instead of Yu Ling? He grants and received bonuses from/to Kyoshi and Okooni.

I have been playing a DH deck for a while and have had some very good results with a few different versions. I will post a few of my lists up a later in the evening (being busy and not having read previous post I don't want to comment to much.) One thing that I can attest to is the success I'v had with Kyoshiro, Nashi, and Zatochi Kage. At one time I was playing around with and undead DH-crow combo that showed promise, Couldn't test it fully because i'm broke....hah. Oh and Pray to the Spirits can be so very over powered in the right match-ups. That being said it can also be a waste of 2-3 slots against other problematic decks. Planning to post 3-4 DH list I have been working on later tonight.

I'd say Nashi is the better choice for 3rd character, there.

You can still play [card]Pray to the Spirits[/card] as long as you don't stack items on Kyoshiro.

Ok i use Nashi with the other two. I guess i'll need a third rain nof death, and do i have to change onijutsu or katamaru since only two of my characters can play them ? i mean isn't 3 onijutsu and 3 katamaru more than i need

It depends.

I think they're all useful, even Fight Fire with Fire is useful.

No Mask increases Human Spirit and lowers non-human Spirit.
This means:
- [card]Katamaru[/card] is best against Humans
- [card]Onijutsu[/card] is better than Katamaru against humans if they have high spirit, low defense, and your Spirit is lower than theirs.
- [card]Onijutsu[/card] is best against non-humans
- [card]Fight Fire with Fire[/card] is offensive against high attack non-humans; defensive against humans; but useless against low attack non-humans
- [card]Rain of Death[/card] is Nashi's offense against humans

They all serve their purpose.

I personally don't use Rosary and still have a good fluidity with this deck. Especially with [card]Neferthot[/card] (which is great as Nashi and Zatochi can chain it!):

Neferthot. Mythical. Jewel Item. Attack +1, Defense +1 et Spirit +2. "Announ Tho" : cannot suffer direct damages. Permanent.

Rosary is usually for defence. As I usually go offensive, I don't really need them. [card]Rain of Death[/card] is a core requirement though.

Personally I have no problem with my DH deck. I used [card]No Mask[/card] and Neferthot. Rosary is nice but not a vital component in this deck IMHO. This deck should focus on spells and manipulation of spirit for your other DH cards.

I only use 2 Jewels MAX in my deck.
