Re : Marketplace & The Art of Tracking

I was playing around 2 years and i saw 4 or 5 different markets. The last one is the worst with a lot of difference.

You aren't free to put the price of the card you bought with real money . (First market allows it, and people decided if they want the card or not).
Yeah i know the low price is due to the players, but the money that i spent in the old market i will never regain.

Now with this prices if you want to make money to buy a legendary card, you need to sell tons of cards...
My personal experience says me 2 weeks before the changes i earn around 300.000 and before it was less than 100.000 .

[card]The warrior´s heritage[/card], [card]The art of tracking[/card], are near impossible to find and like them there are a lot of cards in the same situation... If you don't want to see it ok.

I want to explain more but my english sucks, so my history ends here. I believe you can do something good, try it wink

Quite a bad idea, 'cause in that case the unsellable cards we get from adventure mode would be a pain in the ass.

They already are a pain but let's be honest you don't need more then 3 copies of each card. (1 for characters)
For a rares and uncommons is quite simple - you won't get 3 of the same drops in adventure mode anytime soon. Even if you do you can sell your other copies.
The unsalables actually help because when you have 4 rares you will be forced to sell one so you won't enter the high tax zone.

Remember the common cards are not unregulated.

So the "hoarder tax" I proposed is bad only if you are well...... a hoarder.

Gr33n T3rr0r: I agree that the removal of a min price for the new cards was a bad idea since it allowed some of the paying players to sell new cards at high prices in the first week. But other then that the adaptive price system is great and in the long run I think it will prove to be an excellent feature for the market.

What I see is that :
[card]Stealing the Spotlight[/card] can be found
[card]Shadow Master[/card] can be found
[card]Sword of the 5 Elders[/card] can be found

There wasn't.
There always will be cards in small numbers on the market. It's depend on the interest for theses cards by the players.

Art of the tracking is used in 2 copies to upgrade a new character, this has lead to a shortage of the card.
Warrior's heritage ? same thing, you need this card to upgrade your new character, shortage in progress.

Kotori Kage is actually very popular, I doubt that Keep-the-totems is so popular. I bet you will find again numerous copies of the card in few days / weeks.

Re : Marketplace & The Art of Tracking

Those hoarding The Art of Tracking are in for a bad surprise, because players would buy them now.
As players start getting The Art of Tracking from Adventure mode, the demand will lower, and the hoarders will be screwed. ^^

Only 2 to go for me.

Re : Marketplace & The Art of Tracking

The Art of tracking sure was a problem.. i got one from adventure and 2 i buyed 1 day after the release!!!! then i leveled my kotori and end up with 1 art... jisas i found out i needed at least one more to the guemelite tracker deck and i kept searching.. i couldn´t find so i gave up and sold my kotori at a decent price e_e, what happened next is that on my rare days that i search the kotoba guild for new cards to build a deck i found one art big_smile then i started buying those transmissions of knowledge guess what when i came back the page there was another art !! 2 in a row xD so if u guys have problems finding those cards don´t w8 they´ll show up someday and since kotori deck is so popular these days it will be harder to buy arts not impossible

And once everyone had their Katori, it will be back again (just like Stealing the Spotlight needed for Kuranai).

Re : Marketplace & The Art of Tracking

I don't think it's only a problem with art of tracking there are a lot of cards that are missing the problem is that most of the people are buying newcomers packs so a lot of the old cards are not found in the market especially the most useful ones, a good way to solve this problem is to get a free market were all players can sell cards, if it continues like this it will be almost impossible to get the older cards

I don't think so, as the upper limit is 590cx for The Art of Tracking, I know that they are worth more, and even if I lose some money later, it will only be 590cx per Art of Tracking lost, but I would never sell them for under 1000cx now...

Since I don't approve monopolizing of the marketplace, I hope Feerik makes it worse (as in, by screwing those who hoard cards to sell at higher price).

the max price you can sell art of tracking is 600 so very few people sell them, if you're lucky you can find a copy or two in the market, i have foun 3 but still need 2 to evolve kotori

I know exactly why ppl are holding on to The Art of Tracking.
Because they secretly hope it will rise up to Shadow Master's price.

Except it won't.

ahahah sorry my bad didn't see the "to" in the first post need more cofee smile, just a little misunderstanding

but with with the upper limit at 600 i don't think a lot of people will sell them, anyone know how the limit go up? If it goes up i think more people will sell them, there are card less useful than art of tracking that cost more than 600, after all it is used to evolve one good character to evolve and it's great in a tracker marauders deck, why wouldn't the staff rise the upper limit of the card, i think if they do that, it will sell
