Personally the nomads have always been my favorite deck (well mostly cause of the egyptian type theme) but since the release of indigestion my eclipse deck (which used to be a somewhat viable meta game deck) is now obsolete.
I noticed the nomad cards on the marketplace are at insane prices and I could easily make 500K+ if I sold all the nomad cards I've been collecting for over a year.
The question remains though, will feerik ever introduce a nomad release that actually can compete?
The last 5 nomad releases have been absurd at best. The only time nomads have made the top ELO was when they were first released as a new guild.
Just don't know... I am trying to keep faith that feerik will balance nomad cards against discards/top ELO decks but after a year I am starting to lose hope. But I also fear as soon as I sell all my cards they will release a super OP version of them in hopes of gaining more money (but not many people spend money on nomads, they spend money on discards).

Discard is only getting this much attention because of the new release. the same thing happened to tempus and the previous weeks before. the guilds that are featured each week and the new cards that are with them get alot of hype so people buy into them.
keep your deck if its your favorite. tweak it and re tweak it but don't just liquefy your deck because of the new releases

On which planet were you when Avatar was released ?
Where were you when Immortal deck was above everything else ?
Where were you just before the big nerf of Nomads cards ?
Nomads had their time and the time will come again.

Lol. Zurga is right. Everything is cyclical for this game. Nehantists were a joke for the longest time but then they had some strong releases. Sap were awful post-nerf for the longest time until the most recent release. It will happen for every guild so be patient, grasshopper.

Zurga is so right, Nomad has had 3 Ultra-competitive decks....two of them being so OP that they got nerfed: Avatar Deck and Eclipse Deck. As for nomads they arent as OP as they were when they were first released, but they can still hold their weight. Temple Guardians still need a little bit of work, but they can beat a good number of decks still. Nomads are very strong

Overall its all just a fad once they release new cards everyone will flock to play that clan and complain how OP the new releases are.
The real question you should be asking yourself is "Are you having fun?"
Yes? keep it.
No? Sell them for a new clan.
Pirates and Temple Guardian.

Making new cards more and more and more powerful than the previous releases (to the point of making previous decks obsolete) will really get some (or many) players fed up.
Because eventually players start thinking "why bother buying the new cards? they'll get obsolete soon enough..."
Not a wise move by Feerik.

Agree, i´ll see next crow release, feerik doesn´t relea a UNIQUE caste crow since act 2 ... well we´re at act 5 and there are rummors of crow/tracker character not saying that trackers had cards last kotoba release and crows... like tsoutai crows are damn abandoned and without gameplay at all

Agreed 100%. And its hard to keep up w/ new releases unless you cough up lots of cash to buy boosters (w/c I think is the reason why Feerik is releasing op updates week after week). But sooner or later players will have enough and will grew tired of it. I'm not saying they should stop making new powerful cards, but at least they should release new cards that is balanced and that are not op or broken.

wow man you hit every nail on the head with that. I mean I've been preaching this ridiculous marketing strategy since the courtesans were the newest caste (wow like 18 months ago maybe?)
No one will listen, there will always be some rich kid out there who needs to boost his self-esteem through spending thousands of dollars on this game (anyone remember Bleachman? lol that was a poor fellow there... spent thousands on this game and quit because his power hungry mod powers couldn't satisfy his pseudo-ego)
