The Frosty

Cumulate 150 points. Win 2 points each time a character activates a water Spell. Win 1 point for each game during which you play an Ice Elf, Sap heart or Water Guemelite. You wil earn the [card]Winter Spirits[/card] card and the title: The Frosty.

[card]Winter Spirits[/card]: Water Spell. Collector. Unique. Deals X magic damage points at each character alive where X equals 3 plus the number of Items that the character has attached to himself.

The Elementalist trophy in store!

Players that did not manage to complete the trophy : the Elementalist, can now purchase it in the Eredan iTCG store.

You must earn 400 points. You will earn 3 points each time:<br>
You or your opponent plays a Water Spell-OR- You or your opponent play a Sap of Hearts card- OR- A character suffers 8 hits or more of damage points. <br>
You lose one point each time that : you or your opponent play a Nomad card- OR- You or your opponent plays a Fire Spell...You will earn the [card]Danger in Delay[/card] card and the title: Elementalist .

[card]Danger in Delay[/card]: Action. Collector. Unique. Defense +1, Spirit +1. One of your characters gains 1 Health points. Chain. At the end of the fight, this card is placed in your Deck.

yeah..they get hit out of battle as well so the healing stuff is blocked.

Bad luck pilferess has stolen the ritual stones that Eikytan needs to awake the spirits.
They track down Pilferess, force her to give her back the stones and awake the spirits.

Awesome Zurga, thanks so much! It's really refreshing being able to hear about what's going on in the story, even if it's in paraphrased form!!

This card (at least as written) will only cause 1 point of damage to the Queen. This deals 3 magic damage, and she has a spirit of 2, so 1 base damage.

The additional damage for each item is good...except that most items played with her give her at least 1 spirit, thus negating the additional damage point. I suppose often she also is given the Crown of the Border, which means she would take 2 damage.

Freeze remains the best recourse. Warrior decks are still hosed against her.

Extinction works too. This new card is not that good...not that many water guems out there ( I can only think of Poukos guy atm). Foamie would be stacked with Good Jorus anyway, which would negate most of the damage from this card.

The only thing I can see if the arrival of some water guems in the next release...

Really this weeks trophy card should have been centered around Air Spells, what with the event going on at the moment.

I've participated in 3 or 4 jousts so far. I am not participating in this one because I am reconsidering my position towards the game.

Until the January event it was enough to use 3-4 boosters to fully benefit from the monthly events. For me this was perfectly reasonable. But for this event you have to buy about 8 boosters to get both cards (unless you are farming the 5 or 8 energy missions like crazy). This is double.

By seeing the bids in the auction it is clear that there are some people who are buying much more then 8 boosters. So this means Feerik will continue this way of doing events.

Couple this with the broken marketplace (just one quick example Foil azaram level 1 - max 900, foil delko level 1 - max 6300), the modification of pre-existent cards (gives a feeling of instability about your money investment in the game) and the increase of the card pool with each new release (that lowers the chance for newer players like me to obtain old and powerful cards), and you will have a few reasons why some paying players might be losing interest.

I've said this before, Eredan is the best Online card game at the moment, but sadly, despite it's brilliant designers, the management seem to care only about maximizing profits. (which can be considered normal but it remains to be seen if it will be a winning mid-term strategy)

Some of the decisions of the management are decisions that don't work for newer players.

I guess they will only realize it at the point where it is too late when the player base becomes smaller and smaller when paying customers can't manage to get anymore decks.

Today I noticed the way to get otherwise unobtainable event cards is to bid in the auction: one single player gets that card if he pays 50€ for it.

To me if you pay 50€ for a chance to get a card you should actually get that card, but it also brings up the imbalance between paying and non-paying customers.
Some cards are rarities, creating an elite group of overdonating players decreases the odds of the non-payers to win anything. With the adventure being extremely broken and most fights are fights where the outcome can be predicted from the start there truly is a problem in getting any form of satisfaction from this game.

I so agree with u my Level 3 Kuraying Foil max 600 but on the market a level 2 non foil is selling for over 1000?????? I think this is all bull too mee
