I've spent most of my energy today on nomads quest and the final boss is bourder line improbably with most of his hidden effects screwing over my set up and or healing himself with obesity / solaris turn heal combo after a big hit.

I'm demon hunter simply because its the only "complete deck" deck I have. Anyone crack a good strat to defeat the nomad's boss or is simply a matter of buying feez to update a deck and defeat the purpose of the free to play grasp of the venture mode?

Yup. If you wanna be able to complete all the bosses you're gonna have to run at least 2 different decks. Nehants work well, as do discard and IHAS.

Nothing's free...literally.

those decks may have worked for the others but the nomad's boss in particular and the use of his card combos and effects may seem to put beat down decks at a disadvantage.

I've only tried the nomad boss once with nehant mages and I was completely destroyed. I'll give it another try tomorrow with an elfine deck.

As for the Noz boss i've beaten him with discard by using treacherous.

Haven't tried fighting any bosses from the new Noz or Nomad missions, but if the nomad boss uses solaris or any healing cards, might as well use zil marauders equipped with [card]Shadowblade[/card].

I won with a Temple Guardian Deck against the Nomad Boss which is similar to this Deck : http://forum.eredan.com/viewtopic.php?id=33499

And the Deck is pretty cheap.

I cant get either the nomad boss or the noz boss. The nomad boss will hit me four or five times before the turn starts and I can lose up to 15 health. I don't know if that is a bug or not. The noz boss you cant use a discard deck because he recycles his discard into his deck and magic he has -10 to magic damage. Anything that I can get that hits hard dies to fast under magic attacks. I have found that at times I have lost adventure mode games for no reason. I would kill one of the enemies and all my characters where a live and than I was al the sudden defeated. Has anyone else had issues like that?

The new boss's a just broken, I mean come on...It's insanely hard, not even just a little hard, ridiculously hard. The only one I've beaten so far is Sap Heart Boss on my first try with Ice Elf...but then I tried again a few more times and couldn't do it.

Basically the only way to win against these guys is to have a at least a 500k deck and get so lucky that nothing goes wrong and everything goes your way.

i used doyen,avatar and ishaiah on him with harshness and diplomatic error piece of cake on the noz boss i used foam giant tank on nomad boss

I've beaten both bosses with discard.
The nomad boss is really easy if he doesn't play sol'ra anger early on so you can discard his whole hand with treacherous.

I don't know what your talking about with the Noz boss being easy with a discard deck. He freaking get's half his cards back with hidden effects.
I mean I guess if you get look away and treacherous for all 3 of your first rounds, but otherwise...

I've said the nomad boss is easy with discard. I've been farming him since he came out and only lost 2 times.

For the Noz boss it is much harder and you need to have a little luck with the procs. Also fully discarding his hand each turn is not impossible. Besides Treacherous you also have mental siphon. If you get bad cards in the first turn just discard as many as you can. (panic included - only the last one is really worth using)
Also don't be afraid to reduce his spirit with psychurgist and blackmail - treacherous will still be effective but his spells will deal less damage.

Well for the noz boss and all the other bosses, if you get dissidence early, they are done... for the nomad boss, no clue yet but i tried using the crown of the border and it hits too fast. Maybe some anti-preist cards could help.... I killed all bosse swith the elf deck except the ursen quest and the nomad. Right now, all the others i can do them with the elf deck so guys out there that don't spend money : it's possible to do them !!!!

2 key cards with the elf deck : Dissidence and Litmus Test .

I won nomad and noz boss with Temple Guardian deck...

Punishing the Unpure + Dazzle is a good way to deal with them, except Dazzle doesn't work with noz boss, I don't know why but I can't swap his attack but worked on nomad boss...

Maybe Burning Soul? U get instant +8 attack against the boss, combo it with Time To Die u get +16 attack...

Would you mind posting what you have in your ice elf deck. I like them, but dont want to waste energy if my deck is missing something. I have both of the key cards mentioned.

I beat the noz boss with dragon knights. Destroyed him at his own game.
He just couldn't outdamage my chimera+3x Cursed Sorcerer's Book xD

This might be a silly request. Is there anyway someone can post all the stats and effects that the adventure mode bosses have up so it is easier to try and think up new deck strategies. Maybe known cards for their decks as well.

Against Kotoba, I used Demonic Portal.
Against Noz, I used my Cursed Dragon Knight.
Against Zahal's Treasure thing, I used a few different ones: HakimShrikanSakina, my own KokremRamenJorusien cocktail, etc.
Against Zil I don't remember xD I think it was Portal.
Sap I completely destroyed with my Cursed Dragon Knight.

For the ice deck, since i don't have any crystals and no money for it , i play the cards they gave for the ice deck and a couple more from what i got.

so here's my great magical powerful ( sarcastic ) deck.

1 Agmundar's rage
1 Ametyst blizzard
1 dexterity test
2 Frostbite
2 Icy aura
2 It is time
1 six feet under
2 Northern Lights
2 Ring of Nibelle
2 Prowess
2 The grand Hunt
1 Dissidence
1 Litmus test

TBH: this deck works against sap heart deck quite often but you really need the dissidence card at start and the rings after for Ayir. The guys that i can't beat with this deck is the Zil, the Slayer and the Desert god decks. The rest, i've done them with it.. good luck !

P.S.: of course, if some people know better cards with no value, give me a hint ! I don't have alot of crystals and quite frankly, i don't know how to get some at a fast rate !! loll

What do you play in your "Cursed Dragon Knight" deck? My dragon knights got ate up by the Noz boss.

Well after having no luck on noz boss. I came up with an idea for a deck and it worked well.

With evil Intentions
Zarazam's eye x3

The idea being as a golem he can equip any item as a zil he can steal chimera, with buffs to his spirit he becomes the invincible one. I am open to suggestions for replacement cards to make it more effective. So far so good.
